I think it is tough for guys like Kanzig, Wolf, Smith, etc., to really showcase themselves when the message was to tone down the physicality. They seem to rely on that aspect of their games quite a lot. I think they will look much better in training camp and hopefully the preseason, and we can make a more accurate projection on them at that point.

I was also there, sitting 2 rows in front of all of the Flames staff and i turned around right after Bennett scored this shootout goal and the looks on Hartley and Conroy's faces were hilarious. They were both grinning ear to ear and Conny gave a couple of claps.

I doubt it, at least for not this year - If he turned pro now I think he would get buried under all the new additions to the farm.

I expect he will get a larger role on his college team this year.

The Heat dressed 56 players last year (if memory serves).

The problem that an AHL team faces is that they need to replace injuries for TWO teams. If the Flames suffer an injury, call up one of the top guys from the farm. Meanwhile, injuries on their own team are an even bigger problem due to the schedule which includes 3 games in 3 nights and lengthy bus rides.

There is PLENTY of room for Harrison to get icetime in Adirondack.
