Big dollars for Hiller, but at least he's worth it.
Love that signing.

We need to get over it. He's been a hired gun for a couple of years now. That doesn't change what he did for us.

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg 5s Reports now have Hiller to the #Flames for two years at $4.5 million. Cap hit is meaningless to me, it's all about that short term.

He won't go to Vancouver unless they offer him way more term than anyone else.
I think he goes to TB of the teams mentioned
Still would not surprise me to see him circle back around to Boston

Blake Price @blakeprice1040 3s oh boy... Hiller's deal looks far more appetizing than that of Miller.. 4.5 and 2 years, or 3 years at 6?!

Really? The whole career means nothing if he fades away playing for a team you dislike?
Every Canadian fan base has its own identity and if there's one thing I notice about Flames fans it's that you guys hate your rivals more than you love your own team.
Guy is the best player in franchise history and no matter what he does nothing can change that.

I don`t undersatnd why Iggy, at age 37, would sign with the Canucks. He want`s a Cup and his time is running out.. this just seems like smoke and mirrors. Yea they might be calling him, and Iggy respects Linden so he will listen, but it doesn`t mean he is even considering signing there.

Wes Gilbertson @SUNGilbertson 10s Jonas Hiller lost his starting job last season in Anaheim but still posted a 2.48 GAA and .911 save percentage. #Flames

John Vogl @BuffNewsVogl 32s The Sabres have added $8.15 million to salary cap so far, leaving them $11.85 million from cap floor. Still some work, but much easier now.

Good, now the Flames just need an average D-man and we're set.

#Flames not done - could sign defenseman Deryk Engelland soon. More size and grit for Brian Burke.
