	| GOAT! |
Name your top 5 UFA targets for the Flames

Going into tomorrow's UFA action, I thought it would be interesting to list our top 5 ahead of time. These are the players you want the Flames to sign, ranked in order of priority. Remember to keep these realistic (to a degree). We're not going to sign all four of Stastny, Vanek, Niskanen and Miller (even if you want them to).

 Mine...

 1. Brooks Orpik - Big, stable, heavy-hitting, stay-at-home D with plenty of big-game experience. Pair with Wotherspoon?
 2. Matt Moulson - 3x 30g scorer. Rough season last year, but still did not bad for playing with 3 different teams. He's an experienced finisher on the wing.
 3. Kyle Quincy - 3rd pairing D. Only 28 years old and is coming fresh off of a two-year stint with the Red Wings - which is like saying he spent the last two season at a hockey camp for NHL players.
 4. Mason Raymond - Still young. Still fast. Would pursue if Moulson doesn't pan out.
 5. Jonas Hiller - I still think we need security in G. Nothing deflates a young team faster than bad, unstable goaltending. If things go south with Ramo, we'll need Hiller's experience to keep things stable.

Not an UFA but would like to see an offer sheet on Dwight King, just not enough to cost a first.

Vrbata - desperately need a big RW. Treliving connection there.Niskanen - young D, right hand shot, responsible in his own end, adds offensive touch
Ehrhoff - another steady D who this team would benefit. Also has offensive touch. Would be great with either Gio or Russell.
Paul Stastny - upgrade on C and would allow Stajan to take 4 line duty or most likely be traded for assets.
ROR - offer sheet. He'd be good for this team going forward. With all the grit and truculence coming in, a Lady Byng winner would do wonders to offset the beef.

Speaking of Finnish UFAs, I agree we should totally make a big pitch for Matt Niskanen...

Realize what that would cost? I love the player but it would be wiser to try to trade for him. Offer sheet would be giving up way too much.

			1) Stastny ( near impossible)2) Orpik
 3) downie
 4) hiller ( if declined by hiller then emery)
 5) Kulimen ( hear he signing with Pitt)

Edit: I think it's to early to bring Iggy back, but if he is thinking about Vancouver or edmonton then the flames should save him by signing him.
