Yeah he goes from SSJ1 to SSJ2 in less than two seconds. Impressive.

Likely not.
The real question is: Will Burke let him wear #39 (Killer's old Flames number)?

All I'm going to say is I haven't watched a preseason game in probably 10 years - I'm such a happy fan and so stoked about our prospect pool that I will probably go catch a couple this year.

Galiardi wore 39 this year and Burke didn't seem to care. Unless he got that number before Burke arrived.

So what's out center depth look like now in terms of young players?
Monahan
Bennett
Backlund
Reinhart
Granlund
Knight
Arnold
Jankowski
Not too shabby at all. That's some legitimate youthful depth right there.

He's looked better there anyway.

It is very reassuring having this much center depth now. Actual legitimate high-end prospects, not just 'depth'. Will be interesting to see what happens next draft with so many Cs at the top end of the draft as well (though this can definitely change). Legitimate high-end center depth.. not since the late 80's and very early 90's!
