Why are the Stamps wearing the away jerseys?

Bwahaha. That game was great. The officiating had me laughing.
Was that Graudeau kicking?

I missed most of the second half so I didn't see much of the rookies and the Hawaiian QB plays. First half was pretty good. The vets like Jon Cornish, Drew Tate, BLM, Nik Lewis, Charleston Hughes doesn't look like they missed the beat.

Impressed with Returner/RB Jock Sanders. The guy is like a firebug. He is making us forget Larry Taylor right away. The other returner Sederick Cunningham was not bad either. I am not sure about the other guy Damian Ford. I only seen him returned a few punts and missed his other return. I like that catch by Damon McDaniel late in the game. Jeremy Horne made some good catch too. I can't really say much about QB Bryant Moniz because I've only seen his first few plays. He looks like he is a scrambling QB. Rusty Smith, I've seen the interception but I also saw the way he handled the winning drive. Hopefully those two will get a chance again next week. Too bad about LB Max Caron being injured. On the OLine, I like that Craighead guy. Spencer Wilson was not too shabby either. Jeff Fuller is a keeper.

All of the games this weekend had the home team wearing white (the Riders wore green in Regina, but it was scheduled as a RedBlacks home game because their stadium isn't ready yet).

There was one fumble recovery by the Stamps that was overturned in the first half with over 5 minutes to go. I didn't think O'Shea threw a challenge flag or I must have missed it. They reviewed the play. If O'Shea did not throw the flag, did they do that automatically with 5 minutes left. In the past they do with 3 minutes left.

Surprised by Johnson, McDaniel and Webb already being shown the door. Then again I missed the game last night.

Second time Stampeder cut Dee Webb during training camp. I bet he hates Calgary now. I am surprised he got cut very early but I never think he's that good anyways. I guess rookies Buddy Jackson and Ryan Steed outplayed him as a cornerback. I agree on Johnson and Damon McDaniel but to tell you the truth I only noticed those two late in the game. I was not surprised about Damian Ford though. He is tough position to beat out the veteran receivers and even Rucker as a receiver. He is tough in as a returner as well with Jock Sanders and Cunningham looks pretty good last night.

I guess no Canadian got cut today but too bad about LB Max Caron. I was excited to see him on the field and see how really good he is. He was pretty good as a CIS player though. I hope he can still go back this season even for a few games but not sure if that'll happen though. Huf says he is out for the season.

I thought Dee Webb really struggled in the game, not surprised at all.

I think Glen Suitor had a man-crush on Emmanuel Arcenaux. He couldn't stop talking about him even though he is not even playing.

Brutal 1st quarter by the Stamps on all facet. BLM and Tate was not sharp at all. Defense looks awful on both against run plays and passing play. Special team gave up a TD and Sanders just fumbled the ball. No big deal it is only 1st quarter. Might be a good thing so the players learn to rebound from a bad situation.

BLM overthrew the ball again and was intercepted. Not a good night for him giving Drew Tate a big advantage to be the starting QB in the regular season.

I haven't seen any pressure on Kevin Glenn yet from Stamps defense. If this is what Stubler's defense is going to look like, I am not impressed.

I hope these are preseason jitters cause both QBs look awful.

I had enough seeing Tate and BLM tonight. I hope to see Moniz and Rusty Smith now.

Tate and Mitchell looked like junk tonight. It be a shame with this decent roster that the instability at the QB position kills the team.
