			Is the iPhone 6 expected?
I know I did hear they were hanging a banner for IOS 8, I'm more interested in hardware though. I might switch to my first iPhone

Yep. Will be a key part of the keynote address I'm sure.

I dunno, they usually announce phones later, but it's happened before so it's not impossible.

All rumours are pointing to no new iPhone this week, where have you heard otherwise?

Would be interesting if so, I'm not at the end of my current cycle, but I'd like to have an idea what the design of the 6S would be.

They typically preview the new iPhone at WWDC and then release it in the fall. Every rumor site out there is expecting the iPhone 6 and iOS 8 to be presented today.

Here's a link to The Verge's 13 Things to Expect from WWDC:

I've heard conflicting reports, let's hope though!

They haven't announced the new iPhone at WWDC since 2010 though. It's been September or October the last 3 years.

I believe the phone's aren't generally announced at WWDC events... in fact I don't think WWDC events discuss hardware very much at all. Am I crazy? I don't recall a phone being announced at one of these before.
edit: I see the early models were. The 3, 3GS, and 4 were at WWDC, but none of the recent ones.

I'm very interested in iOS 8. iOS 7 was clearly rushed as a result of team shifts and was pretty focused on design. Hopefully this iteration is more on functionality and they just coast ahead with the design.

They used to be years ago, not since 2010 though.

In fact, since 2010, the Pro and Air have been redesigned, but no other hardware has been announced at WWDC (as far as I could see, might have missed something minor).

That today view is well overdue.
Uh-oh, Alfred is getting the Tim-Cook-beady-eyes-of-aggression with that spotlight update.

This is actually great for me. I use skitch to send annotated images to clients constantly with skitch, and I don't like that iCloud doesn't behave more like dropbox. So far both fixed.

			What a moron.
@MobileSyrup: Can now pull down to respond to message notifications. Don't have to jump out of the app. #WWDC pic.twitter.com/9X5gUvs4qu

Another innovative feature by Apple.

I thought the iMessage stuff was great. Google Hangouts has a long way to go to catch up there.
Tim Cook is a moron though. He reminds me of Steve Balmer, too boastful and ignorant for his own good.

You know you're a shaken company when your keynote's most interesting moments are the ones where you take potshots at your competitor. To even mention Android during their big, fancy keynote tells me that Apple is scared to death of it.
The sad part is that Apple has enough cool innovations today to skip all of the bashing.
