Nothing is stopping LA at this point. The Hawks were the last chance of that happening.

Rangers will be roadkill.

In 2006, the Carolina Hurricanes won the cup after 25 games.

Defeated:

  • New Jersey Devils 4–1,
  • Buffalo 4–3,

So the Flames would be tied for the record if they'd reviewed Gelina's goal.

No way the Rangers will be able to beat LA.

Go kings destroy Martin and brad. Kings in 4 Reggie getting a title will be a nice consolation prize.

Does Regehr have a shot at playing in this series? Haven't looked to much into it but haven't heard if he is skating.

Firmly in Sutters corner here and going Regehr gets a chance to leave them up. Two of my all time favorites.

Regehr hasn't taken contact yet. His knee injury isn't as big of an issue at this point as him admittedly not being in game shape. He has joined partially in a few practice but not fully participated yet. So, it's unlikely unless he were to be able to fully participate in practice very soon.

A few days after the injury happened, medical staff were pretty adament he was out for the season.

Rangers in 6. Rangers speed and puck movement will be enough with Lundqvist in net. The extra days rest will also be a factor.

AV winning the cup would be the ultimate FU to Vancouver. But I hate St. Louis.

“@KennyAlbert: First NY-LA final in the 4 major sports since Yankees-Dodgers in 1981 (also '63, '77, '78). Also Knicks-Lakers 1970, '72, '73. @NYRangers”

Damn. $3k for Game 6 tickets. Too bad because I'm in NY Jun 14-22 lol. That would have been wicked to get into that game (if it gets that far, of course).

Boston in 2011 also played 25 games (7, 4, 7, 7). I believe they're also the only other team to win 3 full 7 game series (matched by the Kings, this year).

I believe the 2004 Flames 26 games was the most played by any team in a single year. LA will tie that if the Final goes 5 games, and break it if it goes longer.

I think LA is the first team to win all game 7's on the road. I might be wrong though

I'm amazed that after the Kings made the final in 93 and the Rangers in 94 that it's taken this long for them to meet.

Kings in 5.
