Last week you were promoting J-God, now its J-Roc, both are ridiculous; please back away from the nickname game....

Johnny Hockey for sure.
But someone posted Obi John Gaudrobi in another thread, which is also pretty awesome.

I liked Johnny Rockets but I forgot about Johnny Hockey. You don't mess with a good thing. Maybe I'll call Joe Colborne. Joey Rockets.

Hello guys!!!!
Johnny Hockey making an impact also in Czech national TV.
Link: http://www.ceskatelevize.cz/mshokej/...yho-gaudreaua/
That is the intermission program in Czech national TV, electronic pencil....two actions of Johnny.....Czech expert Pospisil at the beginning of the video:: " I have maybe 7 actions of this player in my mind from one period, so it would be the whole intermission program only about his great plays":-)))
Johnny is playing an unbeliavable hockey in Belarus. So much dominating player. Hope he will have one of the "not so great days" today against us :-) Quarterfinal game USA-CZE :-)
Greetings from Czech republic

"Johnnyho Gaudreaua"
Seriously though. Thanks for the link; definitely worth a look even without any ability to comprehend Czech. All the gifs I've seen of his bank move off the net behind the goal line are cut short before the end of the sequence, and it's even better to see here that he manages to get the puck out, and slides it to an opening in front. Unfortunately—as is often the case with Gaudreau's teammates, who are thinking the game about three or four steps behind him—there was no one there yet to receive his pass. What a play.
Thanks again.

"Johnnyho Gaudreaua"
In Czech language, there is something called declension, names and surnames included.
That is why there is "ho" and "a" in the end of his name and surname in this kind of sentence in Czech language. In other sentence like "This is Johnny Gaudreau", it is without "ho" and "a" in our language. That means it is not any mistake by Czech journalists in Johnny ´s name, it is the "problem" of declension in Czech language.
Anyway, Johnny is awesome :-)

I didn't mean to imply that I thought there was a mistake, only that the Czech formulation is hilarious. Anyhow, thanks again for the link.

Any of these nicknames makes you all sound like gangsta oilers fans.
I find it highly distasteful.

Thats just it, if you don't want to deal with him, you just skate away. As most intelligent, non fighters do.
Fighters prevent nothing, besides fan boredom.

Try explaining that to the 2013-2014 Vancouver Canucks, who had their figurative backs broken after a dust up with Bob Hartley and his Calgary Flames.
