The best is yet to come for the 'Hawks...the revolving door at the 2nd line Center hasn't helped Kane much...TT probably makes the team next year, and Kane will be able to rejoin Toews, and probably Saad, on the 1st, I expect Sharp and Hossa to be TT's wingers...then a Bickell/Shaw/Smith 3rd line and Kruger/Regin/Bollig 4th lines for energy and grinding...I expect Versteeg to be the odd man out, and Handzus to retire...

In tonight's game, Regin really made the play to allow Kane to score the GWG...a hard drive to the net to draw off Suter...Crawford has to get some Conn Smythe buzz, as he should have last year...he has been solid.

The Bruins? Entertaining?
Haha that's funny.

Those three guys are only paid a million more then the big Pittsburgh two.

There are just a lot of bargain contracts on those Hawks.
I actually believe Kane has the quickest hands I've ever seen. He's not a better overall player than Malkin, Crosby, or Toews but he's special in that his hands are so fast that he can do things no other players can.

Becoming a store bought team. Better to watch though, I'll give you that. Doesn't take much to upgrade from the suffocation of the Lemaire days, especially when the purse strings are loosed a bit.
I don't get this point - there is a salary cap now, and most teams can spend the same.

I can't believe I'm still asking this question, but why is this scumbag still in the NHL?

Foolish Habs fan, they do play a very entertaining game. Second highest goal scoring team this year. But, you've seen them play 6 whole games (in a very exiting series), so obviously you know best.

Watched them about 25 times this year. Which was how my dislike for them grew. How many times did you watch them?
My first Habs game watched this season was wondering n the playoffs. I'm no Habs fan at all - just always tremendous respect for their incredible fan base. And that respect has grown since temporarily relocating here. It could teach us all a lot about being true fans.

But obnoxious Bruins fan always knows best...

I like watching the Bruins and that was before Iginla joined. They have a good mix of size and skill. There's always some good physical play and good overall hockey in most Bruins games. It's not like the Rangers put you to sleep style of hockey or the Habs garbage 5 on 5 and over dependance on the powerplay hockey.

Incredible fan base?

Ya we could learn a lot from them, lets burn down the city.

Also let's boo the American national anthem.

Oh and let's sh*t all over our all star goalie in the pre-season, cause those games matter...

lastly...let's throw garbage at players. I'm not defending Bruins fans here, but there's certainly a large % of loser Habs fans

you don't think the Dome would sell out if the Flames were in this position?

Yeah, it's hard to sell out their biggest game of the year this far.

During the 04 run the Dome was packed when they were away (at least in the latter stages). But the classy Flames people weren't making them pay, all you needed to do was give a food donation.

I remember that.

"Packed" is a little different than "selling out 22 000".

In the second round? I don't know. Maybe, but it doubt it.
Story of the good, and bad that goes with this kind of fan base

Quote:
Tickets for tonight’s giant-screen viewing in Montreal cost $10, with some of the proceeds going to a Canadiens charity fund for children.

Team spokesman Donald Beauchamp says the 21,000-odd tickets sold out in two hours.

Police will be hoping the event doesn’t turn into a repeat of 2010 after fans at the Bell Centre watched the Canadiens eliminate the Penguins in a game played in Pittsburgh.

Mayhem ensued in downtown Montreal, with store windows smashed and rioters clashing with police.
