I remember Brian Skrudland nine seconds into overtime like it was last week... And the Flames celebration on forum ice a couple years later - the only time in all their history a visiting team did this

Brad Marchand 19 straight postseason games without a goal
There's one stat that isn't helping the Bruins. They need all their lines clicking similar to what we saw Saturday if they want to win.......they also need droughts like Marchand's to end.

“We don’t need any fuel,’’ said Prust, one of a few players who addressed the media at the Habs practice rink Tuesday. “We want to win. We know what kind of opportunity we have here. We’re doing our best to keep going. We still have that one goal in mind.
“I know definitely when people disrespect you, it does give you a little extra added fuel. I know P.K., he’s had some good games in Boston and he does feed off that negative energy. But we don’t need any more fuel, we have enough in here.’’

Subban said they’re going to focus on the play between the whistles, not after them.
“We’re going to continue to play and be classy, like the Montreal Canadiens organization is and always has been, play the game on the ice and leave all the crap off of it,’’ he said.
|

“With our speed, it creates contact as well,’’ said Prust. “It means we’re getting on pucks and we’re forcing the play and forcing the issue and hitting. They kind of go hand in hand.
“When you’re physical, you’re taking away their time and space and not giving them time to make plays and move the puck. It doesn’t mean huge, big body checks, but it’s right in your face.''

He's due.

Krejci needs to start playing like playoff Krejci, not pre-season/don't care Krejci.

It was a pick play that the refs didn't have the courage to call.

According to most Bruins fans at hf, there is nothing muchvKrejci can do when he is saddled with slow, useless, stone-hand plugs like Lucic and Iginla.
Their words, not mine - read the Iginla thread

They need Mark Recchi.

What have they become?
Even if Iginla wasn't on the bruins I'd never in a million years cheer for a team with such classless fans. The Canadiens have the whiniest fans in the NHL. They are always the victims and everyone is out to get them.

They've become dirty and hypocritical? Maybe give some examples. When was the last time a Bruin was suspended? The only time I remember last season was Thornton.
How are they hypocritical?

The ultimate bandwagon fans? Are you thinking of a different team? Montreal is quite literally the opposite of a bandwagon city. Maybe you don't know what bandwagon fans means?
There's plenty of reasons to hate the Canadiens and their fans, but calling them bandwagon is just blatantly making something up.

In a one game takes all scenario it often comes down to the goalies. I'm taking Price everytime, he's done this before

Agreed but as was said previously, the Habs have problems on Boston ice sometimes.
Disciplined play similar to game 6 will be key.
I will be cheering for a Montreal win but won't be surprised if the Bruins pull it off.

I know exactly what a bandwagon fan is. It was the Canadiens fans in the '70s who then became Islanders fans, then Oilers fans in the '80s and then Penguins fans. Now they're singing "ole ole" again. Or am I thinking about a different set of bandwagon fans?

Huh? This is all news to me. What I do know is that they are crazy (happy) about the Habs when they are successful and crazy (mad) about the Habs when they are failing.
But the constant is that the Habs are always the talk of the town, and they've sold out the Bell Centre and the forum for decades. I've never heard of this phenomenon of Habs fans becoming fans of other successful teams en masse. I'm not saying it isn't true, just nothing I've ever heard anyone say until you just said it now.
I do know that the passion for hockey and the Habs in Montreal is almost unmatched anywhere in the NHL. They're fault is that they go a little overboard and piss everyone off, but bandwagon fans? Not buying it, personally.
