guns suck, why can we have them to shoot wildlife and why can they be available for shooting people? Just get rid of them completely or make the bullets like $100 or $1000 each, then shooting a gun is expensive and not worth the deaths that we seem to experience in our on a regular basis these days.

A cop in Edmonton was shot last night, and the suspect died in the altercation. This stuff doesn't just happen in small towns. I think I have read however, that you are at higher risk for violent crimes in small towns than big cities. Not sure where I saw that though.

Wow. What state of mind do you have to be in to do something like that. Not very often you hear about a Priest being targeted and murdered, no matter what faith he represents.

RCMP presser underway.

Two male officers released from hospital. Female remains with upper and lower body injuries. "Not prepared to confirm" the two incidents are linked until autopsies are done. She won't even confirm whether or not they are looking for another suspect.

Then a whole lot of "cannot comment" "that's for ASIRT to answer", "St. Paul is a strong community" etc.
