I had the patellar graft. Sucks ass. Good luck with bearing kneeling weight on that knee ever again.

How long ago, Hockeyguy? It's been 15+ years since I had mine. I wonder if the newer methods have improved outcomes - I certainly hope so.

Knee surgery horrifies me. No idea why but I would be a basket case if I ever had to have it done. Hope your recovery is a quicker/better than expected!
Thanks. It isn't quite horrifying but it is pretty damned unpleasant... it's like twice the size of my good leg at this point.

Are you at home now? If you are throw a couch cushion or two between your mattress and box spring, it will keep your leg elevated all night and it's comfortable.

People who bathe in perfume/cologne. I had to take the elevator down with a woman at the end of the day that must have dumped a whole bottle on herself. Luckily it was only 6 floors but it was unbearable.

I have a friend I've known since Junior High who is selectively mute (he never said a word at school). I always imagined him having a Morgan Freeman type voice. Anyhow he uploaded a video on facebook the other day and i finally heard him speak after YEARS of wonder what his voice sounded like...and it was a huge disappointment. I blame Morgan Freeman.

This is kind of like talking to a girl you've never met on the phone and having an image of supermodel in your head. Then when you meet her, it turns out she is not a supermodel.

Yeah...

But what if she does turn out to be a super model?

Heh, heh?

The last 3 times have been from very minor contact. I'm 2/5 in being able to pop it back in myself at least. I'll have to look down the surgery route now unfortunately.
As an update... I managed to dislocated it for a 6th time while asleep this morning. Had to head down to emerg and get put under before the doctors popped it back in.

I'm currently on a surgery waitlist, and now get the added fun of wearing a shoulder sling to bed now I guess.

That brings back bad memories. Then the swelling goes down and your leg is half the size of the other.

For the record, she's thinking the same thing about you. Well, unless you're Channing Tatum or George Clooney.

The whole "I know right" and "right?!" trend. It's like 80% of the population's catchphrase right now.
