If you're ever in doubt whether you should be going to the hospital call Health Link. They'll tell you what to do. 403-943-5465

it GMGs that my 18-month old will only fall asleep when I'm holding her. It really GMGs that she'll only fall asleep if I'm standing. It really, really GMGs when she wakes up in the middle of the night, I'm dead-tired and hurting all over and I have to stand up for over an hour to coax her back to sleep.

Still here! The health link lady listened to all my symptoms and said I need to go to emergency in "0 to 4 hours" (didn't phone until this morning) but to "call 911 for an ambulance if any blood shows up today".

So I'll probably head down at some point today, but god damn does emergency suck.

Going to be there for awhile as they will have you in and out of different examinations. If you puke blood up again take a sample with you as that will hasten the process.

Bring a book as cell reception may be poor

Terrible.
Time to man up!

1. You said 'liking', not 'loving'

2. If she's putting you through the ringer she's not worth it.

NHL Gamecentre app updates. I even have it set to off for alerts and it still sends like 5+ a day.

Just managed to avoid any spoilers about the Chicago-St. Louis game at a hockey tournament of all places, because I'm PVR'ing the game. Just walk in the door to watch it, my Wi-Fi kicks in, and the auto alert "Chicago beats St. Louis to advance to 2nd round of NHL playoffs" pops up on my phone header. #### you

High River hospital has little to no wait times for emerg. Remember when you got that puck in the mouth and made the drive here?

Yeah, actually that's a good plan. I'll go there later tonight, and hopefully it'll be dead.

Wow, totally forgot about that place and how awesome it was. Thanks!

I have been sitting in the YUL airport for a combined 7 hours trying in vain to get back to YYC standby. The only sound that carries above the drum of airport noise is that VW commercial with the kid playing the violin really crappily, while his dad listens from the car.

It plays every 2 minutes. I timed it.

If you hear on the news about some redneck from Calgary running through the YUL airport smashing TV's in a fit of rage. That was me.

WGMG is when people refer to airport codes (YUL) when saying where they are. Yeah, we get YYC, and maybe Vancouver and a couple others, but if you're anywhere else then 90% of posters aren't going to know where you are and probably aren't going to take the time to google it.

I know frequent travelers on here like to think the whole world knows every airport code because they do, but we don't.

You're not dead, which is good, but did you go to ER ?

Hopefully you are at least seeing your GP today.

Yeah, going the gp route. I know it's stupid because he'll likely say he doesn't have the equipment so you'll have to go to emergency, then he'll give me one of his awesome, angry rants on the way out for not going when it happened.

It kind of feels like there's a bit of blood in my throat, like thick swallowing, but other than that I've been pretty fine since.
