Wasn't watching that close last night but I believe when Spencer got up to hand in his idol and he looked back at everyone there was no shock, surprise or disappointment on the faces of the other alliance. He should have known right then to give the idol to Jeremiah. Easy to say though as an observer and not being privy to the entire tribal council.

Right before the votes were read Tony did his annoying thing of how he outsmarted Spencer. He takes everything so personally, cries about it, and then tries to act like it doesn't matter. He's one of my least liked Survivors ever. I did like how he tried to act like he was going to give an idol to somebody if he gave it to Jeremiah, but that fake could have worked against him if Spencer had given it up.
I wish Jeremiah, Tash and Spencer could have come up with a plan to try and get the votes all on one of the guys, so they would know who should play the idol., or done a fake out that Spencer goes up and plays a fake idol to see if the alliance cheers or not when it's proven a fake, and then he plays a real idol.

Stupid super-Idol is stupid.
Seriously, hate that thing... it's way to strong. If you play it right it's a ticket straight to F4. Next week is the only week that these people will have a relatively safe opportunity to flush it and since Tony is the only one who knows the special properties of the idol (assuming he doesn't tell anyone) they don't even know that.
The smart play is to keep the idol properties secret until after the next tribal (he shouldn't have tried that mind game with Spencer) then show everybody the instructions that came with it. after that they can't vote you out without putting themselves in danger.

Interesting idea... but without a copy of the Survivor rulebook we can't know for sure if it would work. There might be timing issues involved (as in maybe the window to play an idol is over once the fake is declared).

I honestly have mixed feeling on how a final vote would go with Tony in the F3... on the one hand people find him super annoying, like Kass said. On the other hand, he was moving and shaking the whole game, and while he might have rubbed people the wrong way, he made power moves. This isn't like Phillip where he just pissed people off and did nothing strategy wise.. Tony has been the puppet master.
I found it very interesting last night when Spencer and Tasha both declared their vote was going to Tony, and I honestly don't think they were lying. Real fans of the game always tend to vote on who played the best and not just who pissed them off. That should be a wake up call to the rest. But with that damn secret idol he is basically guaranteed a F4 spot at this point.
If Spencer can some how get in Tony's head they have a shot, other than that without immunity he is definitely gone next week. I would spend every waking moment looking for that idol again.

By the looks of the preview, Spencer does exactly that next week. If there's one thing to be said about Tony, he is a very paranoid individual.

You could see the look of panic/anger on Tony's face when Spencer said he'd be voting for him.
That's the LAST possible thing you want people in your alliance to hear!
Tony's little spyshack is funny. What a character that guy is.

I'm going to guess Tony is a terrible cop. I hope he's just playing the game, but I couldn't stand listening to him for more than two minutes. He's such a story teller. I knew he had found the idol when he was building the suspense and creating such a legacy of how he found it. The find was awesome, but the story blew.

Have to say, if I was playing and found that "super idol"...no one would know a thing about it or it's powers until I played it. What an amazing power to have, and as was said earlier...played right it's huge. It's basically an immunity necklace with the added kick of a backfire on whoever voted against you. Overpowered? Hell yes. But it's really going to make things interesting. With it, you can even really just put in a token effort at getting the real immunity necklace. .
Next couple of weeks are going to be interesting, as it seems almost no one can beat Spencer or Tasha for the necklace, though.

I would actually tell everyone that I have the super idol. If no one knew, they could still vote for you, you play the idol, someone else goes home but now you're vulnerable for future votes. If you tell everyone you have it, no one will ever vote for you because they know it would be a wasted vote and one of the rest of the tribe can potentially go home. No one would ever take that risk. Tony is pretty much guaranteed to get to the finale now. If he makes the finals and does not win I will be shocked. He has ran this game. I'm cheering for Spencer but I just don't see how he can get there with all the sheep that are so loyal to Tony and/or Trish.

It could work that way, or it could backfire immediately with your alliance turning on you to flush it out..
But with this alliance I can't see that happening, Trish and Wu are lemmings.

If they do try and flush it out though, then one of them goes home. This late in the game, people are usually motivated by the money and I just can't see anyone taking the bullet just to flush an idol. If it's going to work, it'll have to be in the next 2 tribals where you can hopefully deflect to Spencer/Tasha/Jefra, but with this group no one will make a play that big.
Right now, either Tony, Trish or Spencer will win (with Spencer a distant third)

Well for the next 2 tribals if everyone but say Tony and Woo made a pact they could flush it out without worrying about the bullet.
3-Tony
2-Woo
2-Whoever Tony and Woo vote for
Tony forced to play idol and revote Woo goes home. Easily see Jefra and Kass flipping, or at least saying they will, but Trish I think would be a lot harder to convince.
I do think there's maybe a potential for an all girls alliance if Spencer goes home next episode.
2-Tony
2-Woo
2-Whoever Tony and Woo vote for.
Don't know exactly what would happen in that vote with regards to the idol but I think for sure if you're Kass or Trish you should be realizing you don't want to go up physically against Woo and Tony.

No kidding, especially with 2 idols, one of them the very special one.
I was wondering...if the special idol could be used at the very end of the game. Say it's down to the final three, and Tony's there. He gets a couple of votes, the second person gets no votes, and the "winner" gets 7 votes...could he then use his idol and 'give' it (or play it on) involuntarily to the "winner"...so that all the votes for them don't count, making him the winner?

Accordingly to Tony, when he read out the rules, the very special one isnt transferable to anyone
but not that it matters anyways, i mean, isnt the same thing with the hidden immunity idol that you cant use it for the final vote?

Yeah pretty sure you need to get rid of all your idols before the final four. But as long as Tony can win one immunity he can coast to there by using them twice.
I can't say I agree with voting off Jefra tonight, as all he did was piss off his own alliance and the other two aren't with him anyway. Without the idols Tony would probably be going home next week.

Not necessarily, even without the Idols and having Trish, Woo and Hormones wanting to vote out Tony, Tasha and Spencer would welcome Tony and it would've been 3 on 3
Rather than face the 3 of them after a Tony ousting, I think Tasha and Spencer would rather be left allying with a loose cannon like Tony and having a chance with numbers in their favor than none at all
