The stick to the nuts was definitely dirty and I'm not a fan of it but at least Lucic will back it up by fighting if called out on it by the opposing team. Other than Datsyuk who I'm a big fan of and a handful of others on the Wings , the team is up there with the Canucks of playing up the victim role , diving and getting the calls. I still hate Franzen with a passion for the crap he's pull over the years against the Flames. He is one if the biggest cowards/divers in the league. So along with wanting to see Iggy raise the cup I still hope the Bruins take this one.

pretty easy to get in fights when you're 235 pounds, who's going to fight him? Bertuzzi? I can agree that Detroit is a dirty team that gets away with a lot but the Bruins are just above the Canucks in terms of annoying entitled fanbase and scummy players. Chicago beating them with skill was the best outcome possible. They'll probably lose again this year to a team that exploits their lack of speed.

No it doesn't but it means I have more respect for a guy who will do that then someone like Frazen who cheap shot a guy and then turtle and acts like he was shot when the opposing player retaliates.
So long as that guy calling him out is smaller and a non-fighter.
I suggest you check through hockeyfights.com Lucic while I agree is dirty at times will and has thrown down with heavyweights. Matt Carkner is one off the top of my head.

As long as he's bigger then the other guy yeah. the guy's one of the biggest Pieces of #### in the league.

Franzen is 6'3 and 225 and acts like a puss. Like I said not a fan of the nut shot but respect it more that he's willing to back it up rather than the flopping like many of the Wings do.

that's great and all, having more than zero respect for a guy that has speared 3 people in the groin is too much. Lucic is a goon that can score sometimes. Go ahead, bring up Franzen some more.
Fair enough , I'd prefer he'd drop the stick work out of his game too. I guess my thoughts are if you're going to be dirty at least be accountable for the repercussions . And if I have to choose who'd to cheer for it'd be the Bruins over the Wings and their antics.
