In all seriousness. It could be something like Rheumatoid Arthritis or a similar Auto-immune issue. Good idea to get it checked out

WGMG is the idiot student loan people.

Last year, the size of my loan payment was causing issues with another payment that I started to make out of that same middle of the month cheque, and it was causing issues. So I called and arranged for me to make half the payment amount, twice a month to coincide with my payday. At the time, the guy says, so that's $xx bi-weekly? And I said, no, on the 15th and 1st of every month, so semi-monthly.

I don't know what military grade idiot program they have going on over there, but every month I get a call from them asking why I missed my payment. Of course, I log into my banking to see if maybe I screwed up, and nope everything was paid out exactly as it should have been.

This time, I finally press the issue, as these calls are annoying, and it turns out that it flags the payment as missed because I was making them semi-monthly, not the bi-weekly which their software supports. Their solution was for me to make a single payment, so the software would understand that I was making the correct payments.

Now, I could shuffle my car payment and actually do this, but then I gotta go into the bank and sign stuff and I refuse to do that because if you are running an organization that exists solely to give money to people and take payments from those people, you should probably shell out and buy software that supports payments on something as obscure as on the 1st and 15th of every month.

^^ Couldn't you have them arrange for a full monthly payment after the 15th of each month when your account has enough funds? Or are they just being difficult about it?

I could, but it messes up other bill payment schedules, so to avoid this, I arranged to make 2 payments every month, which they agreed to.

However, they call me every month to complain that I didn't make the payment every 2 weeks, but instead make it twice a month like we arranged. The explanation I finally got today was their system calls me automatically because I didn't make a payment every 2 weeks. Furthermore, their system will only accept payments every 2 weeks or it will robo call me.

I know I won't be home in time for tomorrow's Habs/Lightening game on CBC (really interested in this series).

So I go to PVR before I go to bed and Shaw hasn't updated it yet, so I recorded whatever they had on at that time. I'm sure it'll **** up.

^ I think that you can set manual recordings (on my cable box you can, at least). It is just like the good old fashioned VCR : date, time, channel, duration. I believe that it ignores the guide and just records based on your specs.

Nice scapegoating. Doesn't matter if you aren't the first to do it, or the main stream media is doing it, doesn't mean you have to pile on and perpetuate it. But this is the internet right, anything goes and no ones ever responsible for their actions.

Messy roads? Must be time for people to drive like idiots!

Some some Mercedes swerving around on the shoulder on Stoney, trying to get around cars going 110+
Eventually gets up behind me in the right lane and throws on his high beams (as though that makes any relative difference in daylight) to show his taste for my current rate of speed in the right lane (which was also over 100). What a knob gobbler.

My usual reaction to the sudden high beams right behind me...momentary panic induced brake pedal application.....

Tell them you'll pay it on your own and set it up through the bank to do it automatically instead. The student loan people never had a direct debit from my account, I just paid it whenever and they were fine with that. So have them remove it completely and set it up through your bank instead.

Is there a word for that person who you recommend something to and even though the majority of people like it, he'll always bash it and say the "thing" he has already tried is way better. It could be anything, ice cream, tiles, donair, sun screen, freakin deodorant FFS but they will never admit the thing you recommended was better. People like that annoy me. They can never say "yeah that was good, thanks". they just have to always know what is better. Case in point I recommended a friend recently about a Donair/shawarma place and when he comes back he says he likes this other place better and it wasn't that good. A week later he goes there again and posts his sandwich on instagram and the name of the place and says "best place in town!".

Screw you.
