I bet he scores. Then everyone will lose their minds just like when Sven scored at the end of the season a few times.
I do think Johnny G is going to pan out better though. Anyone who dominates the NCAA like he did, has to be a special talent. I like the comparison to him and Patrick Kane. There both extremely small and talented. Time will tell if Johnny G can play up with the big boys though.
Next year will be a huge year for the Flames.
I am excited to watch the game tonight!

These kind of resemble actual NHL lines for the first time in a while. I'm really conflicted about how I want this game to go. On the one hand, picking 4th puts us in a much better position long-term. Logically I should want the Flames to lose.
But I also want to see the Canucks get crushed and have their fans go into the offseason feeling completely demoralized and trashy. I want to see the last shards of hope fade from the eyes of their fans, and to hear the croaking death rattles of their Stanley Cup aspirations. I want them to feel like they just got smacked by the fist of God, and I want the Flames to be the filthy brass knuckles on that fist.
This is really tough.

Doors open at 4:30 today, not sure when the Flames will get in, probably 4. Be warned, there is a ring of honour ceremony starting around 5:30 for Pat Quinn. I imagine the pregame skate will be before that, 5ish I think.
