you probably need them to want a forward not named Bennett

I still think at least one of the things that has to go our way tomorrow doesn't and we end up 5th. Maybe we get lucky and the Isles are ga-ga over Dal Colle. The Isles fans seem to think he's the best choice at 4.

I dunno how Tallon passing over Jones for Barkov effects thinks. Does that make him more likely to take a defender this time around, or does he prefer to take forwards in that spot? Or does it matter at all, since they are different players. It kind of feels like a similar situation really.

I think they thought Barkov was the man. He seemed like he was so far this year. They may think their centers are sorted and take the D-man now. I think if Buffalo doesn't take Ekblad, Florida does.

Yeah you're probably right, but better them then him dropping to the Oilers. Who knows what the Oilers will do with the third pick, they could even trade it with Ekblad gone.
