A single point for the Oilers will be enough to move them ahead of the Panthers.

Since they're playing the Nucks, I don't even have to feel bad about hoping for an Oiler win.

A Canuck loss will also ensure they finish bottom-three in the West.

This is the Stanley Cup for the Oilers... no one loses better than them when something is on the line.

Leafs lose.. finish tied with Winnipeg... same ROW no idea who has the tiebreaker there.

EDIT: Buffalo's season should really be celebrated. 14 points behind the Oilers. I mean that is impressive.

Winnipeg won both games against the Leafs this season, so they'll be ranked ahead.

Guaranteed top-ten draft pick for the Leafs. Impressive collapse for a team who was in second in their Division a month ago.

East playoffs are set I believe:
Boston-Detroit
Pittsburgh-Columbus
Montreal-Tampa (home ice up for grabs)
Rangers-Philly

and pick top 7 at worst

two Canuck losses or 1 loss and Carolina win tomorrow vs a Philly team that should rest guys would mean 6th

pre lottery

I want the Canucks to beat the Oilers. Keeping their cupboards bare is top priority, and that will ensure their pick isn't as good as a 6th would be.

Oilers can pick whoever they want for all I care. We all know it's meaningless in that Bermuda triangle of suck.

Regardless of being an Oiler most of his career, I wish Ryan Smith all the best. A decent career for a heck of a player. Love seeing classy send-off's.

Hope he gets the record tonight with a final PPG.

I have a bit of a soft spot for the Blue Jackets and their dedicated fans, so I'm glad they aren't playing the Bruins in the first round so I can cheer for them.

Smyth made captain for the night too. Nice move.

Part of me wonders if the Oilers are forcing Smyth to retire if they told him they had no plans on bringing him back next season. It seems like something they would do, and he's not going to play for another team.

Guessing Lowe isn't in charge of the Smyth ceremony. He'd likely cancel the whole thing just before puck-drop because he couldn't get a discount on the balloons.
