Not to mention the Canucks play tonight too, I feel like if they haven't already stopped caring they will after tonight.
Disappointing season + b2b meaningless games to close out the season could be a nice recipe for us.

It's at home against their biggest rival, I think anyone on that team with even a semblance of pride will give it their all.

You really are a Crumpy-Gunt.
I'm just happy to see some potential in this team. I will take the 4th pick and be happy with what we get.

Could be a tasty recipe indeed. Hope Gaudreau gets his first goal with Arnold assisting, and we still lose, and islanders win their last game against buffalo.

Yup. Theo agrees.
Mind you, Fleury was 5'6" 180lbs his rooky year. Different era's though.

Welcome to the club, guys.

it's been a hectic couple of days....but I'm sure it's nothing compared to his trip to Russia for World Juniors last year and his return back to the US only to have to get right back to hockey with his Eagles team!
He'll be fine! The kid's an animal!

Hey, theres a reason why thats my username
4th pick would be nice. But we still need to lose to Van and NYI to win their last game. Then theres always the draft lotto.
3rd would give us a shot at Bennett Reinhart or Ekblad. There is somewhat a drop after the top 3 prospects. Draisatl/Dal Colle are not on the same level. I'm not the only one who would be disappointed to miss out on those 3 after being in the bottom 3 of the league with EDM and BUF most the season

It's surreal to see Gaudreau at practice with the Flaming C. Three days ago he was still Johnny Hockey, junior at Boston College.
Around this time tomorrow -- he'll suit up as Johnny Gaudreau of the Calgary Flames. Can't wait.

That does have a ring to it!
I have to practice saying his name "Goo-d-row", I've been calling him "God-row" for as long as I've known about the kid.

That's okay. God-row is closer to the french/correct pronunciation of the name (and also being that he is godly and all). But I guess the american way of saying it is Goo-d-row.
And don't be mistaken, he'll still be Johnny Hockey with the Flames.

GOAT!

I just wish people would stop comparing him to Theo Fleury. They're not even remotely close to being the same type of player. The only thing similar is their size. If you need to compare Gaudreau to an NHL player of similar size and skillset, then Patrick Kane is a heck of a lot more accurate.

Naw, nothing should take the place of Johnny Hockey. It's stuck. The fact that he's got such a high profile nickname already speaks volumes. Johnny Hockey is here to stay.

Just when I thought I couldn't like Bob anymore. Our new GM better have a mandate that keeps Hartley.

Darren Haynes @DarrenWHaynes 38s Gaudreau, a fourth round pick by the Flames in 2011, will make his NHL debut before 10 of the players selected in the first round that year.
