Default I need some PC help!

I am having a big issue where a bunch of ports seem to be blocked on my PC at home even when connecting with Windows Firewall off and connecting without my router connected.

Ports that are blocked are 3724, 6112, 6999.

How is this possible?

Thanks for any help you guys can give!

Your ISP may block those ports so that you can't run a World of Warcraft server.

Well currently I can't connect to Battle.net properly and it is driving me NUTS. I can't play Diablo 3 or Hearthstone. I've been talking back and forth with Blizzard support for a few days and it seems the problem may be that these ports are blocked.

I'll play around with it at home but if I can't get them open I will have to call Shaw and have a discussion with them.

Shaw doesn't block ports, you may have routing issues; however doubtful if you can connect to battle.net. Do you have a router installed? If so check with the person that installed the router.

I tested without a router and the ports were still blocked.

Sounds like to me that its a Firewall issue if its not a router problem.

Windows firewall is off. I don't have any other firewall programs that I know of...

Is there any way to figure out what program is blocking ports?

Thanks for your help guys!

Have you forced those ports open in Windows Firewall (not just disable the firewall) and set up port forwarding rules on your router?

netstat -a from the command line to see open ports and status.
