You would be excited too if the Flames relied on an AHL caliber goalie as their designated #1 starter, like we do in Winnipeg.

We need to go 1-1 and the NY Islanders get 3 pts in their last two to fall into 4th.

It's become a new tradition in Winnipeg to shout out the lyrics "True North!" when the signer is reciting O'Canada.

Try it. It's fun |

Yeah, we get WHAT you're doing. It's lame. Maybe we should start chanting CNRL at games too.

Cool.
Too bad "Scotia" and "Bank" doesn't come up in O'Canada. Shouting out the names of affiliated companies DOES sound fun!

Every time I hear about something like that, it just reinforces my idea of Winnipeg fans:

Instead of saluting corporations, we instead salute the fans, during the American anthem we yell on "SEE (or rather sea) and "RED".

maybe you should come up with an original concept instead of taking one from another franchise and pawning it off as your own.

We've done the "C" and "RED" thing a few times at games in the states. Sometimes people laugh. Sometimes people ignore you.
Sometimes people give you REALLY dirty looks.

It's just a song people. It's not like we booed your troops... when you salute them... every single freaking game (so weird).

Mike Cammalleri questionable for tonight's home finale. Has a virus, Hartley said. #Flames

I think Flames fans should try to drown out the Jets "true north" chant with a "C of Red" during the Anthem. It might be disrespectful, but Jets fans are terrible people and Winnipeg is no good. I'm sure Heather Liscano will understand.

Came down with a serious case of mustlosethisgameitis. Way to take one for the team, mike.
