Yea, I was heading to Glenmore Landing, but the inside lane had less cars, so I went into it. For some reason there always seems to be way more cars in the outside lane, even though there's usually plenty of time to get from the inside lane to the Glenmore Landing turn in or 90th ave.

I really don't understand why people feel the need to flip somebody off if they get honked at. I've made mistakes when driving before, and have been honked at. My reaction is typically to either give them a wave (like a thanks, but in this case sorry), or if I have eye contact give them the shoulder shrug.
Is it a case of people being so offended, or a case of people being that oblivious that they did anything wrong? Like in Doom's example, did the lady think she could pick any lane she wanted? If so, how does she think others get to pick their lanes without causing a collision?

Honking is so weird in North America. It symbolizes anger. In Lebanon it is actually used for what it is intended for. I drove there last summer and you could beep at someone and they would drive past you normally and not finger you or even think anything of it.

It's way better here though because we honk sparingly. I can go a week or two without hearing a horn.

I think that's part of the problem. People should know when they effed up!
Quick honks are great for communicating. Longer honks are great for discipline. Just don't do one of those 15 second cabby honks that pisses everyone off.

Don't know where you're filling up, but a lot of stations say "up to $100" as their default setting. If you select "other amount", it will let you enter more than $100 in.
As for the partial fill, the only time I'll ever do that is BC on a weekend trip. I can likely make it from Calgary to BC and back on a tank, but I'll usually throw an extra $20 in to be safe. Since it's an extra 20c + per litre there, there's litttle sense filling it up. But any other time, no, it's a full fill or nothing.

Yeah, thanks. I actually didn't know this until recently. It definitely works at most gas stations and maybe even all them.

WGMG is that I accidentally let a hooker in my condo on the weekend, and now I think her pimp is calling me.
I had to meet up with a buddy outside for a second, and when I went back in there was some chick hanging out inside the building. She asked to use my phone, which I regretfully obliged, and at this point I thought she was visiting someone in the building. I thought it was an innocent enough request, and it's not like she was a complete disaster; mid-20's (I think) blonde chick.
So she made a few calls, and then asked if she could use my bathroom. I'm obviously too gullible as she caught me off guard, and so I said sure. It then took her like ten minutes to use the bathroom, but I made sure to watch her like a hawk. Finally she leaves the bathroom, and that's when she started asking if I needed a "date" or smoked crack... At this point I quickly rushed her out the door by telling her I was going out.
A few hours pass, but then I started getting calls from the number she called earlier. Good thing I checked beforehand what numbers she called, as I would have unanswered them otherwise. I'm also pretty sure she smoked crack in my bathroom since the stopper was in the bathtub (which I never use).
tl:dr I must either be the most naive (dumbest) person alive, or maybe I just have a thing for strays since I kept a cat I found outside last week. She also called my cat perverted... bitch.

If she smoked crack, you would have smelled it. What does the stopper in the tub have to do with anything?
What part of town?

Well I didn't put the stopper in the tub, which she obviously did. So why exactly would she do that? She didn't run the water in the bathtub from what I heard. And the bathroom kinda smelled when I went in, but I have no idea what crack smells like (or at least I think I don't).
Oh and Downtown Edmonton... At least it's near the better side of the downtown core.

That sucks man. I hate when you do something for a stranger, and they end up being total ######bags and pricks. It sucks, because the tendency is to generalize that behaviour to other strangers, and totally honest people won't get the light of day because some ######bag took way too much advantage of somebody. That is WRGMG.

In fairness she was nice enough, and pleasant to talk to, although in her industry I suppose she needs to be. She didn't really take advantage of me, but it was just a strange situation to be put in on a Sunday afternoon. Lesson learnt for next time though, I won't talk to anyone in the building I don't know.

Maybe she just took a dump. She was in there for 10 minutes and you said it smelled. She could have dropped a deuce and then lit some matches. The smell could have come from her crack, not from smoking crack.
