Reimer/Bernier were both top 5 statistically when Cherry said that and Bernier still is.

The Leafs allow 27 shots through 2 periods...awful.

That is a small sample to judge on considering it was four weeks into a six month season. Their career statistics are nothing special.

He got a young, cheap, franchise goalie.

Do you really want to try to brush-off Bernier's stats this season? First chance as a starter and he has a top save % despite facing the most avg. amount of shots per game.

And actually, Reimer's career stats are indeed pretty good. 2 920+save % seasons as a starter on a poor defensive team.

How do you block people again?

Edit: nevermind, figured it out. It's in the user CP if anyone else is interested, which I'm sure many are.

Rene Bourque is still a very frustrating player.

Reimer is playing horrible but Glen Healey should not be giving goaltending pointers to anyone. If you want to give the backup advice on opening the door please speak up but if not keep your trap shut.

Do the Leafs think they con constantly give up 40 plus shots a night and win?

Also hilarious that through 50 games David Clarkson has 10 points and 4 goals.

I'd love to be that terrible and be making $5.25 million a year.

Leaves just lost to Rene Bourque. Might miss the playoffs. Too funny.

Also how come the Jets fans have been so quiet here lately? Thought Paul Maurice was the second coming of Christ.

Yeah, I hope those Jet fans enjoyed their dead cat bounce.

I will be the first one to admit I stood up for Reimer here the other day, but man, that fourth goal was brutal.
There's no stat to measure timely saves, but if there was I'm not sure it would flatter him.

Our playoff hopes are over. Once Scheifele went down with an injury, the whole team has been in a tailspin. Next year I'm hoping the team can finally make the post season. We just need a competent starting goalie, and maybe a good trade or two to put us over the line.

Just saw that Iginla tied the game and got the empty netter after Phoenix led after 2 periods. What a machine.
