Leafs PR ‏@LeafsPR Paul Ranger was taken to local hospital for precautionary assessment this evening during tonight's game. He is stable, conscious and alert.

looked pretty bad. Didn't seem overly malicious by Killorn, but a bad hit for sure and the 5 minute major was the right call. But also a bit unlucky given the way that Ranger turned when Killorn made the hit. Don't think he should get a long suspension.

Hattrick by Stamkos by the way. Good to see him back to his old ways after the injury.

Patrick Kane hurt on the ice ... lumbers off, neither Emrick or color man even mention it on NBC.

Quality stuff.

No maybe his shot but nobody creates offence like Crosby.

Dater can question the 2nd and the contract. Not sure what he expects from Berra, when Roy and goaltending coach said he needs work to become a capable backup. Unless Dater thought "the work" could be completed in 2 weeks, it's going to take time.

If the Flames gave up a 2nd round pick for a goalie would not want more than 'he needs work to become a backup'

Yeah, when we trade 2nds for goalies we want the franchise's best goalie ever.

Berra is awful. That second rounder has way more potential.

I normally lean toward player safety and that guys should let up on players in a vulnerable position, but in this case I wouldn't suspend Killorn. Ranger's wacky move to attempt to avoid the hit put himself in that position.

Jets and Avs tied at 4. If it makes it to the shootout, that's where Berra is king!

Berra caught swimming in something Calgary fans have seen before. Jets win in OT.

Blake Wheeler wins it in OT for the Jets. Not really sure what Berra was doing on the goal either

No idea what Berra was doing there on the OT goal. He jumping around like a mad man there.

EDIT: to be fair, the Avs defense deserves some credit for letting Wheeler hold the puck forever cutting across the ice.

Haha at those who were scared Roy saw something in Berra and stole him from the Flames.

Lost his net on the OT winner tonight.
