Yeah I should have thought of that.
Might be moot anyway if I can't get the RMAH to work in time lol.

I just sold 2 skorns that were wasting in my bags for $10 each then put the skorn I was using on for the same price and bought one for 5mil gold that was just as good. The auction house is a weird place right now.

Hm good question I'm not sure, don't need it for equipment now but I don't know what costs are for crafting and gems and stuff at the high end, especially since everything changes with the expansion. Gold might even be easier to come by, since it should be balanced towards just paying to maintain a character, so I may even regret buying it never needing it.

I recall watching beta streams where people were making $5 million+ per hour. Bounties seem to give pretty good gold rewards.

I've got about 8 million save up heading into the expansion. Not much time ti invest in getting my paragons up now as life has gotten a bit too busy.
All I know is, I need some massive upgrades on weapons to fully balance out both my DH and Barb.
Kind of excited for the expansion to arrive, I stopped playing because the maps have gotten far too boring. Needs new areas. That's my biggest thing to get excited about for this expansion.

That it is...
I put up 6 Radiant Star topaz, and they sold. Under review though... then the auction was cancelled and the 6 returned.
OK, put up 9 for sale... they sold. Under review again.... then cancelled again. 9 returned.
Put up the 9 again. They sold... again. Under review... again... then cancelled again. This time though, only 2 were returned!
OK, so perhaps the other 7 are still sold, or still under review, but I can't tell what it happening.
THEN I get an email saying Blizz sent me $5.52 to my PayPal account. I don't have anything matching that pending. In fact, the only thing I HAD for that amount was a month ago, and it was paid.
Very weird indeed.

I might do a relatively quick run through from Act 1 to Diablo. If you reset quests and kill Diablo you get a guaranteed legendary. Anyone who wants can join me but I'll only be focusing down elites and large groups of monsters on like Torment 2 or 3.

If you check game settings there's an option to reset quests if you have completed every quest. It means doing the whole game from start to finish.
It's less monotone, still get decent exp and drops and then can finish off with a guaranteed legendary on top of it. If I pick up some pools along the way I can do some exp runs as well so it's a bit of a balance of everything.

Took me until the second last day but I finally made use of the real money auction house. My Echoing Fury sold for $65.00. It's being processed but assuming it all works out I'll be joining you guys in RoS.
Unfortunately it can take 3 days to process I guess which means that ~10 bucks extra might not be ready in time to use on the auction house and it will just be stuck in my account.

Lol so not being able to get into the RMAH was a result of parental controls... don't ever remember setting them up though.

So, as someone pretty new to the game, are there kinda baseline damage/toughness recommendations for different difficulty levels? Doing a barbarian, and did the full story on Normal mode (which got faceroll easy by the end). Reset quests, and started again on Hard. By the time I hit 60, I was a bit into act 2.
I've got 7 paragon levels now, and stuff was starting to get easy again, so bumped to Expert. Only been on it about 10 minutes, but so far, not too bad, but elites can be hurt. For reference, Damage is at 43.7k, Toughness 636k and healing ~ 5k.

Make sure to level your alts up before the double xp bonus goes away. Thanks to a hellfire ring and high level gems allowing me to play on torment 1, I got my brand new Witch Doctor to level 42 just before finishing act 1. Figured it'd be handy to have 1 of each class at lvl 60 in case future balance tweaks changes the flavor of the month class away from the wizard
