I wonder how many wont buy Titanfall because of how bad BF4 was being that both are EA titles

They swapped over to the PC to get away from the screen tearing. Looks to be holding up way better.

I don't think it will be much. Anyone who bought BF4 without any regard to EA's history *cough sim city cough* will most likely not care this time around.

Which is probably the worst reason not to buy it.

I wasn't going to buy it anyways. It's not my kind of game, too haloish

Don't know if 440,000 pre-orders is very good

http://www.vgchartz.com/preorders/41714/USA/

I think Destiny will make me decide what system i buy.

But apparently it still comes out for all four systems.

I think that's probably a poor number to go off of anyway.

Think of it this way: I didn't pre-order Titanfall. I bought it the day it came out... online, in digital download format, which is something I couldn't do the day before it came out. Why would I wait for a disc to show up at my house, or have to go out and pick it up when I can just buy the game while sitting at work, get home, and play it immediately, since the game will download while the console is off? (Go standby!) It makes no sense to pre-order discs if quantities of online purchases are unlimited and delivery is done behind the scenes.

In this generation, the 'pre-order' statistic is virtually worthless until we start getting pre-orders for digital versions.

Same here, I waited until it went up on the Live Marketplace last night and nabbed it (midnight launches in your underwear beat the hell out of having to go and physically pick up a disc).

I'm enjoying the hell out of the game, by the way.

Mine is likely downloaded and ready to rock, but I'm still out of town for work, so it'll be waiting for me when I get home... meaning I'll get to play it for a day and a half, at which point I have to fly to Dallas and will be gone another two weeks. Fffffffffuuuuuuuuuuu.

PC version is a 48gb install...they didn't compress the audio so it could be run on more moderate systems. It runs like a million bucks on my main gaming system but I also got it running decent on my moderate spec laptop

Wow, these look pretty awesome. Spoilered for size.

Spoiler!

Interested to hear what you guys think of Titanfall. I never got the chance to try the beta but I may end up getting it depending on how well it's received.

Titanfall is pretty boss, a lot of game modes, a lot of maps, good graphics.

Big gripe, still no native SLI support, it needs to be forced by adding the EXE to the COD:Ghosts profile in Nvidia Inspector, and results in bizarre tearing and occasional micro-stutter.

Hopefully this is fixed soon, as I really do enjoy the game.

I was getting microstutters even without enabling the SLI, though I haven't updated to the very latest drivers.

I bought the limited edition controller since it was so nice (needed a second controller anyways) but still have not bought the game.

Might give in though. Have a high ankle sprain and am going to have more time to kill on the couch than originally anticipated.

Some coworkers take their Xbox consoles with them.

I'm not quite ready to make that jump.

As for appearance stuff, the Titanfall edition looks bad-ass, but I want this:
