The Wild along with the Kings really needed to pick up some scoring. IMO Moulson is going to fit in as well as any of the deadline deal types. Very solid move.

I feel it's a bit of a waste for Wild.
They're not in a real risk of falling out of the playoffs, and I don't think they'll get past the first round, since anyone they meet is going to be one of the best teams in the league this season.
That said, I get why they're doing this. Sometimes you need to go for it, and this is a team starving for playoff success. Plus the price isn't too bad.
Sabres fans are probably happy.

Wild should of gone harder after Vanek.
Its rumoured he wants to sign there in the summer, so they could of got him for a similar price to what they gave up for Moulson and got a jump start at re-signing him.

well...the Wild seem San Jose desperate to win RIGHT NOW!!!!
I just don't see it happening.
With Bryz as a backup????
They need to get rid of guys like Heatley first before Id ever consider even cheering for them.

Heatley is a free agent after this season. The Wild could use his money to re-sign Moulson.
They re-signed Pominville so there is precedent there.

2012 - 3
2013 - 6 (including Carrier)
2014 - 6 (assuming Blues make WCF and/or re-sign Miller)
2015 - 6 (assuming NYI defer 2014 pick to 2015)
2016 - 3
That's insane.
