I only saw the thread title. Clicked on it and it had disappeared. Dammit.
Play-by-play anyone?

Man, at the very least it could have been locked and preserved for posterity, I don't see what the need was to delete it.

I cannot imagine who could possibly have had a problem with that thread.

Well. I hate it when that happens.
Oh well. Since it never happened I guess saying that the four elements of a contract being offer, acceptance, consideration (amount and not how or when transferred) and a "meeting of the minds" or an intent to create an agreement are what is to be considered when determining if two parties have an agreement would be completely a moo point.
You know "a cow's opinion, it doesn't matter, a moo point" (thanks Joey)

Elements of contract are not the be all end all as to whether a contract is enforceable. Lots of things can void a contract - illegality, duress, unconscionability, lack of capacity, etc etc etc...

So let's get this straight. All the posts regarding the "bet" were moved to another thread... which subsequently got deleted.
Alex Jones is going to be all over this in no time.
Seriously guys. WTF?

it's too bad that thread got deleted...
but imho, after reading as far as the 2nd page in that bet thread...Puckluck2 should be $500 poorer
He can argue all he wants that the transaction details were never cemented, but he still agreed to take on that bet and agreed to the dollar terms.

How to make a bet in 3 east steps.
1. agree to bet.
2. agree on wager.
3. make/receive payment
gmg's the real betting thread is gone and I had to say that here.
