If he can still play another year or two, I can see him getting ahead and Phil Esposito at 717 (also passing Gartner along the way). If he's really up for it, he may even have a shot at Dionne at 731.

If he never left for the KHL, there's no doubt he'd have passed them now.

Had he not left for the KHL he would have had a shot at 800 goals. I think he's easily the best European player to play in the NHL. Still looks like he could play 2-3 more years as he's having a very good season.

Jaromir jagr is one of if not my favorite player of all time. Had he never left for those 3 years there is no doubt he would be at 800 already.

don't forget 2 lockouts. 5 years of Jagr playing and I think he would easily be the 2nd highest point getter of all time.

Looked like the ref didn't want to give him the puck.

Glad it was a nice goal and not a weird bounce off a skate or something. Jagr is truly one of the best ever.

Joins Wayne Gretzky, Gordie Howe, Brett Hull, Marcel Dionne, Phil Esposito, Mike Gartner.

Wow, quite a club. What would his numbers be like if not for basically five seasons out of the NHL?

Wow that is impressive, for that to be his 700th goal but looks like one he would've scored in his prime. Just so much poise, overwhelming size, and undeniable skill. Obviously one of the all time greats.

And just imagine how many he'd have if he didn't play in the KHL for a few seasons.

I remember 1998 ish he signed a contract that experts felt left money on the table. When they asked him about it he was like, "meh, how many flat screens do I need? I have enough money."

Neat guy.

Gotta think he would be second only to Gretzky now.

Well that is assuming his body would still be the same after 3 years in a much tougher league than the KHL.

Still a great player and one of the best of all time.

I actually have wondered about this for a while. I recall Jagr once said his interest and ability to play at an NHL level was rejuvenated from his time with the KHL. I kind of suspect he'd be retired if he didn't take those years out of the NHL.
