the people that bitch about the picks are weird. If they finish higher in the standings it means, guess what? They're actually already sorta decent. Your pick in the draft is related to where you land in the standings. In theory you don't need as good a player as other teams do relatively speaking plus all our prospects are still getting better.
Calgary will be fine. Everyone is so GD worried about just not being the Oilers. We won't. It's almost impossible to be that bad.
