Nice, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Alyssa Milano; NHL bringing out the real stars tonight.
I'd like to see the NFL try and find a band as irrelevant as Kiss to perform at their half-time show.

But seriously, Kiss are a lot better live than Metallica. Not even a contest.

They certainly aren't irrelevant. Their last show here was sold out, and they have the most ridiculously loyal fan base, which I used to be one of. They just sound horrible now, and need to hang em up.

Theatrics, yes, sound not even close. Metallica is very tight live.

Who wants to listen to another ####ing Beyonce performance? Heaven spare us from "relevant" pop artists.

The Metallica I remember was usually sloppy live. Kiss has always had higher standards than them.

It's all irrelevant anyway. Iron Maiden is the gold standard for live metal. Case closed.

I feel like this is one of those discussions where someone shows you Metaillca performing and you go "That's Metallica?, Then who are those guys that dress up and sing Every Rose has it's Thorn?"

Kiss has never been about the sound, it's always been about the show...and for many many years nobody did it better.

Agreed, it's essentially like icing the puck (trying to get a break), so why wouldn't they treat it the same. Dumb

I am shocked at how good and fast this ice seems to be. It seems 10X better than the Ice in The duck pond. By the ned of the second they look like they are skating around in a slurpee in that horrible arena.

I love Maiden, but if they had played instead of Kiss, we'd hear the exact same complaints about having to watch an embarrassing irrelevant artist.
I'm just saying. I suppose having Miley Cirus, whose music no one likes, would have been some kind of sign of respectability.
