As for some of the comments by Calgarians on this forum towards me and my city, well, it's to be expected. You can't come up with constructive arguments that have to do with hockey, so you resort to childish insults in other areas to make yourselves feel better. That just shows the frustration level you guys are feeling about your team. It's understandable. Oh well, c'est la vie je suppose, eh?
Anyways, looking forward to the next beat-down we lay on the Flamers the next time we meet, and all the childish insults by SOME of you Flamers.
Have a great night, no hard feelings, and GO JETS GO!!!!!!!!

Flames: 3 Cup Final Appearances, 1 Cup Win, President's Trophies, Conference Titles, Division Titles, Calders, Conn Smythes, Vezinas, Art Ross, Richards...
Winnipeg: has an NHL team
Yeah, we are rebuilding. So what? Who do you honestly think will be in the finals first? I am willing to bet it's the Flames before the Jets.

I only watched the third and found it OK. Of course they won that period 2-1. I enjoyed watching the young guns era more

Perhaps, but Sven had great chemistry with Sean. Why not try to nurture that?

This post sounds like a typical Oil fan chest pounding, self important reply, are Flames fans turning to this type of justification during the "rebuild" that most wanted.

Winnipeg Jet fans at the Dome; classless and trashy.
But nothing was better than a Jets fan getting pummeled by another Jets fan

Just another gutless performance only thing to look forward to for the next 30 or so games is we get closer to a top 3 overall pick that will be solid. Other than that this team has lost my interest.

i dont get how Berra is getting crucified for ths game. i don't like the rebound on the first goal and didn't like how the puck got through him on the last goal. i think 3 of those goals were bad efforts from the team. you could say he didnt clear the puck on jokinens goal but we were short handed and everyone got caught over-committing to the puck carrier. no matter, our pp sucked again and we didnt capitalized on any opportunities while the jets did. i dont think you could blame 1 guy for this game in my opionion.

LMAO !!!
That guy was sitting 3 rows in front of me...
And all I have to say is that he must have been on beer 8 by the end of the 2nd period. He was so loud. He was with 6 other friends who weren't as bad... Unfortunately I was having drinks with friends in the third and missed it all

I really don't get trolling on cp by a Jets fan. The Flames got me through the 15 years without a NHL team and even with the Jets back I still follow them. I find CP to be one of the best fan discussion sites out there. I could care less if people make fun of Winnipeg, it's a dump like Edmonton but I'm stuck here so be it.
As for idiot fans, that happens everywhere. Much like the drunk chick in flames hear at the mTs centre trying yelling you f&$king suck to anyone in ear shot and trying to fight a mom with her kid. Alcohol, sports go well together for some and not for others. Nothing compares to rider fans!

What does that even mean. Kevin Lowe has a bazillion Stanley Cup rings and we (rightfully) laugh at how brutal the Oilers are.

For anyone wondering, you can see snippets of the fight starting at 11:33 of the 3rd of the SN broadcast. It's the Flames end to Berra's right. You'll see a guy in a Jets Jersey get up and come down the stairs, then a buch of commotion on the glass as the play moves up ice.
Just above the "Orpik TV" board ad.
Goes till at least 10:46.

Yeah that's about what I saw last night from a good ways across the building. Kinda saw everyone getting up and then saw the guy go barreling down the stairs. Couldn't really make much out till he was pulled away in cuffs.
