Did Kerr say the Preds were playing, "Kitty by the barn door"? Is any of that phrase other than "door" correct?
Actually that is an old farmer phrase. Barn cats will sit by the edge of the door and protect it. They will use it as a hiding spot to pounce on prey and intruders.
Haha, yeah, that whole series was fantastic. I liked that they took it outside of the arena.
Obviously there have been some decent commercials since then...but there are way too many commercials of guys in locker rooms, or skating in the dark by themselves, playing with star-strucks kids, looking really introspective etc.

Yeah, it was pretty nice the first couple of times that style worked. Problem is, one group nailed it and then every group for the last ten years has decided "nail it" the same way.

Yes there is that to . but the ice hockey term is kitty by the door too. BUT there is the phrase kitty by the barn door too. All three are accepible. Each have a slight difference but mean the same.
