Archer season premier is tonight! So even if the Flames game goes as they have been, there is at least something to look forward to!

As good as he has been in the A I dont think is offensive talent translates to the nhl as well he is a great addition to the 4th line though

Now don't be so hasty...it could be a clever ploy to get more traffic in front of the opposition net...

He's played 14 games at the NHL level all while playing 4th line minutes. I don't think it's any wonder why he hasn't.

Why do you think he can produce (or partially produce) what he has been doing in the AHL?

He was playing 2nd line at times for us early in the season. Plays died on his stick. He won't hurt you out there but he generates nothing and has no finish.

I'd love to be proven wrong, but he's 26 and in the AHL for a reason.

Monahan and Colborne on the same line, that's a first... Colborne switching to wing?

Who do the Flames get to see in net tonight? the Anton or Peters?
Colborne deserves better than the fourth line minutes hes been getting. So I'm good with him slotting into a top nine wing spot. especially with Cammy out. I think they had Monahan and Colborne play on a line together for a bit in the third last game as well. Seemed to have worked well together.
