Ryan is a little slow to be on the big ice. That's the issue really.

Really, I think the only reason Ryan would be upset with Burke is because of the role had in his life to this point. It sounds like Burke was actually more supportive of Ryan than many of the other guys making the team.
They really are.

Nothing bombastic like what Burke tends to bring to the table.

What I find hilarious is that Feaster was seen by many to be the talker, yet here we are...

In the behind the scenes of the Olympic team selection on CBC before the outdoor game, the boston GM put seguin's name forward as an option for the last spot among the forwards.

He has to admit his bad trade.

Why?

Seguin was partying and wasn't where they wanted him in his development. Just because he seems to have turned things around in Dallas this year doesn't mean he would have done the same in Boston.

Reilly Smith already has as many points as Seguin did for them last year and is quietly second on their team in scoring. Their big piece, despite the injury and not a great start, in Eriksson still needs to be looked at as a potential 30-30 guy. Joe Morrow is a former first round pick who's putting up some impressive numbers in the AHL and even Matt Fraser is playing some NHL games.

Then with the cap space cleared by moving Peverley with Seguin they were able to sign Iginla who's fourth on the team in scoring.

The deal absolutely worked out for Dallas, or at least early on looks like it has, but I don't necessarily believe this is a deal that Boston is regretting. I mean they had a guard watching Seguin to make sure he stayed in his hotel room, and most importantly they have improved in the standings.

This is the sort of thing that can end his career.

Trust and respect are broken, from the coach/gm perspective.

Wait, so you're telling me that trades can help both teams? That its not always about one team being fleeced and one team making off like bandits? Say it isn't so! Where's the drama in that?
