				 Mudder's Day - What R U Doin'?

Mother's Day is coming up. What are you gonna do for yo'mama? I'm trying to find a nice restaurant, but want something good, that we haven't tried before. Anyone make any suggestions for restaurants that are good, but no one has really heard about?
The meal, of course, will be followed by lots of Yo'Mama jokes for my mom to hear.

P.S. Gold Star for anyone who got the Firefly ref. in the title. |

All three Mom's (Mom, Mom-in-Law, Stepmom) are coming along with other assorted family members for brunch.

Well, last time I was back in TO, where mom lives, I spent the day with her. Got our hair and nails done, went shopping, had lunch. It was pretty nice. Since I won't be in TO when it is actually Mother's day, I will just call her and hope my brothers who do live in town will take her out somewhere special.

The usual flowers and dinner etc, the usual stuff.
Yes, I still live with my mother as well, and I'm 20.

I'll recommend a few restaurants for Mother's Day:
Ambrosia (aka Divine Ambrosia) - nice setting. located in the deep southwest. Great slice of deer.

Metropolitan Grill - they do just about everything good, plus a few pretty waitresses.

Haddock & Hoof's - awesome, awesome seafood. Order the Fish and Chips. That will be all you ever need!

I will call my mother and step-mother, they live in diffrenet cities, that's about it. I will also let the wife sleep in but what else is new she always gets to do that, I get to get up with the kid, we'll go to Mcdonalds for breakfast while she sleeps.

My vote is for Vagabondo's. Go for the pasta platter. You can pick a sampler of 3 different pastas for your platter. Believe it's around $15 and the portions are very large.

Went to Rosebud with a gaggle of family - including one genuine 82 year-old mother - for luncheon and the afternoon matinee of a most excellent play.
Really, a wonderful day yesterday on the bald-butt prairie, nicely toasty and breezy and kinda green at Rosebud, walking around the village of 93, taking the celebrant on secondary highways in our fine touring sedan, a Chrysler 300 C with a v-8 hemi, including out by Mossleigh, Gleichen, Standard, etc, stopping in every small town along the way with the excuse I was looking for a can of ice cold Diet Coke. Finally found a guy who had the door of his shop open even though the sign said "Closed on Sunday's." This grizzled old guy sold me what I wanted and made change from his wallet. How great is that?
