Nice comeback by Nashville, 3-3 and heading into overtime. The goalie change worked.

no, Crosby still leads the Art Ross race by 6 points, but Ovechkin is awesome this year.

I'm glad he's having a resurgence late last year and this year, because I thought he was legitimately done as a top tier player after his previous couple of seasons.

Anyway...
Exciting OT in Tampa (Lightning win)
Exciting OT in Nashville (Canadiens win)
Exciting OT in Toronto... and the bloody shootout ruined it.

Honestly, that game was better off ending as a tie.

Hmmm, the Oilers don't look absolutely atrocious to start this game. I don't like it.

A good 10 minutes for the Oilers to start this game, intermission panel is going to be unbearable

Ference is having an awful day. First he kills a teammate in practice, then he misses the net on that PP to create that Blues goal.

Leafs lose in OT; the Oilers playing with that winning championship hockey that they know so much about... now that is an awesome OOT

Tornado sirens going off in Nashville right now. Scary.

“@JoshuaCooper: Fans still in the building, can hear tornado warning sirens going off...”

I'm torn between the Oilers losing now and then getting a high draft pick and wanting them to win enough games to finish 9th

It's a foregone conclusion at this point, they are getting a high draft pick. So just enjoy laughing at them getting embarrassed every night.

If the other teams continue to win at their current rates, Edmonton needs to go 28-16-1 simply to tie Winnipeg and Nashville for 11th in the conference. They are so completely buried that even a major hot streak would likely only put them past us.

37 games into the season, the Oilers have had a 5 game losing streak 4 times already.
