Kings are extremely sloppy, so far, tonight...Gave up a bad 2 on 1 shorty with careless play in handling an iced puck...a bad pinch on an Even strength 2 on 1, and an unnecessary penalty late in the period to give up a PP goal. 3-0 after the 1st...Hossa from Toews on the SH, Versteeg from Seabrook on the ES, Sharp from Toews and Keith on the PP...

That Toews guy is pretty good...

on ties...Hockey, unlike other sports (except Soccer) is relatively low scoring...so ties have been more common, historically...

I am ok with ties, in the regular season...I blame coaches for playing too conservatively in guaranteeing 1 point. I think that if Wins were 50% more valuable than ties (3 points), then the incentive would be to go for wins. I would like to see regular season OT eliminated and a 3 point win. Teams that "play safe" will fall behind.

Kings are really struggling with Zone exits, and keep turning the puck over to the forecheck or point man, holding his ground.

Nice to hear the fans in Anaheim booing Schultz every time he touches the puck.

I'm hoping Ben Lovejoy and him exchange some punches

Oilers give up a late goal and lose 3-2

I wonder if we'll hear the 'no shame in losing that one' rhetoric again.

He should be booing himself. He could've been living by the ocean in California playing for the #2 team in the league but instead he chose to live in Edmonton to play for the worst run franchise in the league.

They don't deserve Ekblad.

Please don't let them have Ekblad.

A kid of his caliber deserves better than Alberta's flatulent ####.

oilers are such a joke. how does lowe seriously have a job??

embarassment to the league, they really should be demoted to the AHL, like how badly can a nhl franchise be managed for so long.

Are the oilers really going to let another season run out without making any changes?

How many games in a row would they have to lose before Eakins gets canned? McTavish? Lowe?

I'm really hoping for a panicked trade of one of the Hall, Eberle or RNH. Or even better their first for this year.

Count down til Yakapov openly demands a trade.

What a gong show franchise.

Don't get worried guys, I'm sure the Oilers are about to go on another 3 game tear.

All will be well again. No changes are necessary. Onward and upw-....onward.

At what point does Kevin Lowe take any accountability for what he has created? Again his team is part of the three worst teams in the NHL.

I mean it was only 4 days ago that an article came out praising Eakins for adjusting his approach evidenced by his team going on a 7-3-1 stretch in their last 11 games. I remember seeing Paul Maurice on TSN say he "called it" in regards to the Oilers turning their season around. Still, after all the losing, all the terrible seasons, all the horrendous play, the weak checking, the fancy toe-drags turning into turnovers, the lack of defence and the non existent goaltending this Oilers team STILL gets completely unwarranted praise and adulation. It truly is astounding.

They are the third worst team in the NHL right now, and that is where they belong because they suck so so so so much.

I cannot believe Kevin Lowe still has a job.

I remember that Paul Maurice bit. How these analysts keep a straight face when praising the Oilers I'll never know.

Another season? They've made changes EVERY season, they're just dumb changes. In five years they've had 4 GMs, 5 Coaches and other changes. Maybe stop recycling people?
