A point on every goal the Flames have scored in the last two games.

Good to know that for us in different time zones. Glad I didn't wake up in the middle of the night for it.

Since I'm at work, and bored, I thought I'd add to the celebratory theme.
Don't think I've stolen this from anyone...

Flames are now 7-3-2 against the east - and one of those losses was Toronto when the Flames were pretty dominant.

I honestly believe the Flames make the playoffs this year if they are in the east.

I doubt Gary is okay with that many mid-season expansion teams west of Calgary.

Any team (except the Oilers) in the west would probably make the playoffs in the east.

This competition will hopefully breed strong management.

Great effort by Byron. Love to see guys like that grab the bull by the horns and take advantage of an opportunity.

Glencross, ugh. Handling the puck like a hand grenade. He needs to build some confidence.

Fell asleep sometime during the 3rd period. Woke up to dead air. Glad to see we won. Holy crap that was a boring game!

How many games have we gone now without allowing a goal in the first two periods?

He's becoming the most consistently reliable goaltender this team has. He deserves it.

Berras been alright, Ramo's just been better.

Four straight and six of the last nine games. Plus, in the Avs game last Friday, the Avs scored their first at the 18 minute mark of the second.

These last couple of games make Darcy reiger look like a long shot for the Flames job. Byron, Ennis and Gerbe are all tiny and all came through the sabres system.

Almost halfway through the season and the Oilers are still the only team in the West with a losing record against the East.
