I hope that each of them has a speedy recovery.

Butler has been pretty good since Gio has been out.

This injury news to Wideman and Monahan makes me sick, horrible news. Byron/Butler just admit Feaster you lost that Reggie trade by a mile.
Calling up Byron more crap news.
Can't stand Butler can't stand Byron and how Feaster always builds them up and over inflates their worth.

I think you have made your point numerous times in this thread beating a dead horse on Butler and Byron. Surprised you aren't blaming Butler for the injuries.

Ya Feaster your buddy Butler was on the ice for the last 2 Hawk goals you jerk.
|
He is right.
If people would take off the Butler hate goggles they would realize that Butler has been very good since the injury to Gio.
I thought the last two goals last night were both softies according to CP? Guess it is Butler's fault now that he is on the ice.

I'm glad that Byron was recalled and not Knight. Even though Knight has been playing really well, I think letting him have a really successful pro rookie season with the Heat will be beneficial long term. Byron is what he is at this point.

I don't think it's neccesarily "hate goggles", more the perspective you're looking at this from. Since the Gio injury has Butler been "great" by prevoiusly set Butler standards? Heck yes. With that said, has Butler looked "great" by normal league wide standards? Good god no.

The Butler game all Flames fans can play...
Next Flames game take a shot every time Butler backs away from the puck carrier and gives up that 10-15ft piece of ice.
Take another shot every time the Flames get scored on and he is near by.
Then post how drunk you got.
Losing Wideman for this long is going to cripple the Flames.

that is unbelievable... Is there anybody in the system who's healthy at the moment ?
Well, if that's the case, I think the best thing Hartley can do is to give Breen more minutes and pair him with Brodie. AFAIK they played together in Abby and could become the future 2nd pairing for the flames.
We're in the Ekblad race anyway so I'd go with
Smid - Russel
Brodie - Breen
O'Brien - Butler
At least, there'd be a gritty dman in each pairing (something I've been missing since Gauthieregehr era)

30th in the league defensively with Wideman in the lineup. Not sure what direction you are expecting things to go? It's like an Oilers fan saying losing Dubnyk is going to cripple the Oilers. When you are bad you are bad.

I know they're using neoprene in hockey gloves now. Seems like it would make sense over skates as well. Not sure what type of material they're using now for the skate guards

Wideman, Giordano, Glencross and Monahan.
What exactly is the flames current total salary being put on the ice then? Any cap gurus out there?

BUTLER BONANZA!
He played 25 minutes last night with Wideman still taking shifts with a broken hand. 30 mins of Butler.
I'm fired up.

lol agree put it this way they will have even less of a chance to win games now. Not looking forward to it. Glad vacation time for me is coming up in a month.

Just as you've made your point numerous times in every thread you get a chance, to beat the dead horse of Hartley's coaching ability.
What's your point?
