Sven probably going to take the blame from Hartley, because he's a bad coach. Ramo needs a stretch of games.

Not exactly the best argument tonite. They should have went straight to Sportcentre as soon as the 3rd hawks goal crossed the line.

Berra deserved a better fate.
Up 2-0 and the Flames decide to sit on the lead. When will we learn to play 60 minutes of hockey.

If you want to kill any confidence he's gained these last 2 weeks, by all means, Hartley should bench Baertschi again.
Because it's proven to be so effective.

Sven is not doing himself any favours. The effort was there but execution is not. Will be interesting to see how Hartley deals with this.
Berra is such a Jekyll and Hyde goalie. The skill is there but like Sven tonight, brain cramps at the wrong time. If he could learn to play an entire 60 minute game he could be a reliable goalie.
On the positive side Monahan was awesome again, so impressed by his complete game.

I don't like to complain about the refs (losers excuse) but WTH !
blame Sven all you want but he wasn't turning over the puck like Cammi/Stemps were all 3rd period.
Berra is "entertaining" flopping around and all. If he ever gets some steadiness/calmness in his style we may have a goalie

Was it the money? I seem to recall it wasn't the money but the actual negotiating that soured. Maybe TSN wanted more rights or something or HNIC? I don't know..

Sven has to play smarter late in the game.

Why do the Hawks always seem to get the benefit of the doubt from the refs? Frustrating.

Berra let in two absolutely soft and deflating goals in this game. Both of Kane's goals were routine saves for an NHL starter. It is becoming evident that he is not a late game performer and does not currently have the ability to close out a game (which ironically is what young teams need the most..)

Was disappointed to see so many blame Berra at the end of gt. He played lights out first 50, not pretty but he got it done. Not like Amy of the other Flames showed up in the last 10.

No, he did not deserve a better fate. He made routine saves look hard because he was flopping all over the crease and being overaggressive positionally. And two of those three goals should not go in on an NHL goaltender. I'm sure he's a great guy and he looks like he's very confident out there, but he's definitely not a starting goaltender.

What can you say. We hung in there with the best team in the NHL. Ya it hurts we were up 2-0 and lost but that's growing pains my friends. We got a point out of this. Let's grow and learn as a team and try to do better next time. Good effort Flames.

Tough loss for your guys...but, I feel that you Flame fans should be proud that your guys battled and didn't lay down like dogs (as the Oil did on Monday)...how's that "fail for Nail" BS working out? Step one to winning is having some pride...
Some near misses, with shots and stretch passes...one of those hits, and the story is completely reversed.
Thanks for letting me hang, Flame fans, and good luck to your guys going forward.

Berra scares me a bit. His aggressive play puts him out of position, letting him create his own excitement, and he flubs the softies for goals.
It's almost a Jekyll and Hyde routine. 50 minutes, he'll be good enough and will go the extra mile to try and stop goals. The last 10 minutes, he'll wander so far Byfuglien could skate behind him, leave his post, and lose his ability to stand upright.
