				 Pearl Jam concert - 02Dec2013

			Hey,
I am going to the concert and I was wondering what is a normal time frame for the opening act to be done.

Concert starts at 7.30 so I assume the opening act would be done by 8pm.

Does anyone have any experience with concerts like this. I dont go to many so I dont know what is an appropriate time frame to guess on.

 Thanks

I couldn't agree more. I was a little upset to see how empty the Dome was when they opened for Pearl Jam last time they were here. Mark Arm is an amazing frontman, and great guy, and Mudhoney play their hearts out. Don't miss them.

Not enough thank you's.

I'd be coming to that show if I had my damn passport.

If you check out PJ's twitter (@PearlJam) they've been posting pics of the set lists, at each show.
Looks like each show has been a different order, etc. I like that. Makes each show kind of unique!

 FRACK! I can't wait!

Pearl Jam will play anything in their discography. Thats what makes a Pearl Jam concert so awesome, every show is a unique experience. When you look at most bands setlists they are 90% of the same every show (sometimes verbatim every night). I mean here's the list of every song they've played on just this tourhttp://www.setlist.fm/stats/pearl-ja...ning+Bolt+Tour
The five songs I'd like to hear in Calgary that they probably won't play, but because its Pearl Jam they definitely could play would be:

1. Leash
2. Brother
3. Red Mosquito
4. Insignificance
5. Glorified G

Yep any song they've ever recorded and even some Vedder solo stuff may be played. Different every night. Changed up on the fly. Pull out the Singles soundtrack and Lost Dogs demos/B-sides because you might just hear some of that.

All possible. I believe they've played at least 3 of those 5 in Calgary in their last three visits. I think their Virgin Fest show was the first time they had played Brother live after PJ20 came out.

Wow, totally missed the fact they released more tickets this morning. Thankfully I'm not behind the stage but I know some people are and the chance to upgrade would be nice to them.

I looked at 10 this morning for a bit and all I got was behind the stage as well, as we were looking to upgrade our high level 2's!

Apparently they played for a little more than 3 hours in Oakland last night, 37 song set!!! Can't wait for Monday!!!

If you are behind the stage you will have the best seats in the house....for one song.
The stage is completely open so behind the stage isn't terrible if you don't mind looking at their asses all night while listening to great music.

Wow so I'm looking on StubHub and there are a ton of tickets available way below face. Like $30 a ticket, 200 level of course but still not behind stage or anything. Some for $70 first row of some sections. Right after tickets went on sale nearly 2,000 were up there and now there are still 1,000 left. Looks like the scalpers struck out this time which is awesome.

hah I remember he said something like this:
"I think this is the second time we've ever played this... I mean, we must of played it once before right?" Ed talking about Brother at Virginfest

So, anyone wanna meet up before or after the concert. Weather is supposed to be craptacular on Monday, so I'll be training it...also so I can have some beers.
Here is the set-list from the other night in Oakland. They played 'Black'! I heard they almost never play it. This is encouraging!
