Don't mind Monahan getting the hard hat but it so belonged to Sven today.

Watched my first live Flames game tonight at the MTS Centre. It was a fabulous game after the first period.
The Jets fans were obnoxious and it felt great when Monahan potted the shootout winner.
I'm not sore why they waited so long to use him but he nailed it.
Good performance by Berra.

I love their relationship, on and off the ice. Great on Hudler for taking him under his wing

I think it was the third Jets goal...
Backlund had 3 chances to clear the zone and he was soft on the puck all three times. Never got it out and it ended up in the net.
Wouldn't be surprised if he sits next game

I loved the rather understated celebration by Monahan. What a gem.

Best games ever by both Baertschi and Bouma
Stempniak's compete level is under-rated
I thought Berra was great. Third goal was one of those things. Big rebound on the 4th goal, but Stajan and another forward never bothered to pick up the winger.
Very entertaining game.

I thought the one penalty was bad but other than that not much else to say about it. I've given up on trying to figure what is a penalty and what isn't. Was a fun game to be at, some great flames fans as well. I haven't gone anywhere to watch a Jets game but I didn't see any of the crap I see that happens with Canucks fans or Oilers fans and fights in the crowd.
I must say the Flames blocked a hell of a lot of shots as well. Very impressive effort.
The second I saw Mohnahan line up I knew we were in trouble.

Good game to watch! Kept me on the edge of the seat.
Shootout choices - Brodie? Russell? before Monahan? Well, we won.

I completely agree, tonight was his most dominant game. Won a lot of board battles and moved his feet very well, showed some more confidence with the puck too.

Good entertaining game and a big win for the Flames.
Reto Berra played good stopping 43 of 47 shots. That's a lot of shots plus 6/8 in the shootout. He's a NHL goalie.
This was a good team effort tonight. Most everybody played hard. Good games by Stajan, Louma, Stempniak and even Galiardi had a good game tonight.
TJ Brodie with 2 points, he just keeps getting better the last few games here.
Sven Baertschi as well, with an assist on the 4th goal and was physical in front of the net for the screen. That's how he needs to play.
Shoot out was all about Sean Monahan. He just keeps getting better. So much poise and had many chances during the game as well.
Good team win.

Great game by baertschi! That kid is money on the forecheck... Nearly every time he went into a board battle to steal a puck, he came away with control and made a pass to get a play started.
Wasn't a pretty win but we'll take it for sure. Hoping this gets the flames back on their game a little more.

The green hard hat made more sense then a fire hat.....when I see the fire hat I feel like it's that players job to cook dinner for the team that night.

EDIT - I don't typically call out fan bases, but the crying over the officiating on Jets HFboards is amazing. I lurk on a few and it is one of the worst reactions I've seen. The Blackhawks fans were really classy after losing...but the Jets boards...I can't help but it was an act of the hockey gods to let the Flames win.

I actually went over there to compliment them on a hell of a game, but after reading the first 2 pages said #### it.
