We have a long road ahead until we are respectable. However when this team shows some try they are actually fun to watch.

Well, nights like these happen to even good teams.. won't be the last one this season for a rebuilding team.

Postives.. hmm..
Russel was +1 tonight!
Nice to see Stajan with some snarl out there

Besides a few moments here and there, the Flames were just out-matched tonight. Just couldn't contain that top line. That line is damn good though, and only going to get better.

Hopefully this embarrasses the Flames a bit and they get their solid work-ethic back. Has definitely been lacking in the last stretch of games for sure. Need to focus on Edmonton.

Bad game for most of the players. It did become entertaining during the third period though.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

Well, happens to better teams than us, St.Louis whipped Colorado with the same numbers tonight.

I wouldn't put too much into our "3rd period pushback", IMO it was mostly about the Stars stopping than us getting started. They're just way better than us.

That said, it's pretty clear the team is struggling with their confidence. Constant losing will do that to you, especially when you have a lot of young players. Vets tend to be better with consistency.

Somewhat surprisingly, Battle of Alberta is going to be a huge game for both teams. Everything is right in the world for a while for the winner, while the lose will have hit rock bottom.

Should be good.

Actually, Jackman and McGrattan both had 1 hit each.

Backlund had 5.

Not blaming the loss on him, obviously, but Ramo is some kind of terrible.

On 2 Of Seguin's 4 goals especially.

Right, let's go back to drafting no talent giants and hope we win the lottery with one like Dallas did with Benn. Chucko had much better numbers in the BCHL in his draft year, and he's workin out great, same with Nemisz.

Bottom line we desperately need to improve our scouting. Drafting soft euros and stonehand canadian kids hasn't paid off

Team seems a bit of a mess right now. The chemistry is not where it used to be, and I blame a lot of that on the line juggling/lineup shuffling.

Some of you are going to come to realize just how terrible of a coach Hartley is.

On a plus side, Heat beat the Texas stars today 7-3 and Ortio made 45 saves. Good old Blair Jones with a 5 point night!

I can promise you ownership was not happy after that game.

Also "what they should have got"? C'mon man...
