Make sure you follow up with probiotics otherwise your digestion will go to crap (pardon the pun). Don't forget to whack your body with a lot of extra vitamin C over the next few weeks too. It will help rebuild the mucus membranes and supports collagen production in your connective tissue. Nutrition is just as important as medication when recovering from infections. Don't be afraid to take lots of vitamins and eat really healthy for a while.

The pain from a pneumonia is usually due to 2 things. Sore accessory muscle from excessive amounts of coughing or issues with the pleura, either infected itself (pleural effusion) or inflammation of the pleura (pleurisy). There are actually little nerve endings within the lung itself so your not going to get much pain directly from mucus buildup. The digestion problems after a pneumonia sounds new to me, but I don't really follow pt's after the infection has resolved, so that interests me. Do you happen to know to the mechanism of why this happens? Also, the mucus membranes have hypertrophied during a pneumonia so the membrane doesn't really need rebuilding, they need to go back to regular size. And the lungs are mainly comprised of epithelial cells and smooth muscle, so there's no real concern about collagen. Are you sure you're talking about connective tissues of the lung specifically?

This game, and phoenix, way better coaching when it comes to sticks in the lanes. I'm not sure if here it's talent and there its coaching.. but both teams stifle everything with good sticks.

I am legit more interested in learning about pneumonia than the game being played right now.

that is the kind of stuff that will get Sven benched. I'm sure Hartley was pissed by that hot dog move, just shoot or drive to the net.

Is the mindset of the Flames tonight just, "hmm, the puck is pretty close to my stick, should I get it or wait and see what the Sharks do? Oh.. They took the puck"..

Wow, they finally call a freaking penalty on the Sharks.
Took nearly 50 minutes of hockey.

They're all probably asking themselves why they wasted their money on tickets.

Poor fans that paid good money tonight. But then again they didn't do anything to help the home side early in the game. Were gassed from the first goal against.
