Bacterial or viral? How extensive is the infection (i.e. more than one segment? more than one lobe?)?

not a good job by Hartley or the players. Berra has held his own, Brodie and Jones only stand out for me.

How are the Hitmen doing? We have to have some competitive hockey in this city that isn't peewee.

He's getting shut down constantly, but so is the rest of the team. I'm not saying that he's making a difference out there, but I like what I'm seeing from him tonight.
He's protecting the puck pretty well (when he's not up against the boards being out-muscled) and he's really trying to make something happen out there. He's intercepting some passes and I've seen him throw a couple hits too.
If he was strong enough to win those board battles I think he would be the flames best player tonight. (After Brodie)
But he isn't so he's not. Hit the weight room Sven.

Baerstchi is a turnover machine tonight. I'm surprised he keeps getting ice time

Looks like the players are scared to make mistakes. Maybe those benchings have really sent a message.

if that is the case it is having a negative effect. 1 win in 5,6 games and counting.

Bacterial, lower left lobe, taking breathing treatments, 2000 mg of amoxicillin (allergic to everything else) and codeine cough syrup- I just want to feel better. I had NO IDEA pneumonia was painful, feels like cement in the lung.

Flames should just forfeit the 3rd period and call it a night. They clearly didn't show up to play. Yea, the Sharks are a far superior team. But the Flames sure aren't making it very tough on them tonight. I fully expect us to lose more often than not during a rebuild, but a little bit of effort would make those losses so much easier to swallow. And I haven't seen any effort from these guys at all tonight.

flames vets have been utter trash tonight...
cammalleri, hudler, galiardi, stempniak, wideman have flat out sucked.
it's amazing how bad wideman can look at times. if they counted how many times a player loses their stick during the play, he's gotta be top 3 in the league.

You honestly don't think Sven knows he needs to add mass? He made it very clear in the off season that he does. Besides, it takes time to add muscle and strength. Have patience with him.

Jones isn't a bad player but he's a $1.5 - 2 million player making $4 million. Ouch.

Everyone is turning the puck over. And everyone is losing the puck battles. Nobody looks good out there. Berra is stopping pucks but he's moving a lot and starting to cough up rebounds.
This is a top tier team. We are bottom tier. No guts no glory in the third.

Yeah, it's not good because the lung is supposed to move freely like a sponge. When it's infected with a bunch of bacteria it sorta solidifies and it becomes very painful to breathe. You have to let the antibiotics pretty much run the course, yours sounds like at least 2 weeks, maybe more. Make sure you follow up with probiotics otherwise your digestion will go to crap (pardon the pun). Don't forget to whack your body with a lot of extra vitamin C over the next few weeks too. It will help rebuild the mucus membranes and supports collagen production in your connective tissue. Nutrition is just as important as medication when recovering from infections. Don't be afraid to take lots of vitamins and eat really healthy for a while.
