first flames game back after 2 weeks away... yikes.
only time the flames will be successful is when they outplay another team. When one of the most skilled teams is the opponent, and they are hungry and skating, flames will get drilled every time, they just don't have the skill level for that.

as in it was dumped down low, he skated back and forth 4 times behind the net and then gave it up?
He is right where he should be (tonight) based on the last few games.
Im still thinking we win 5-4 SJ always comes out strong and we always come out slow with the tide shifting as the game plays on.
Wasnt a fan of the call on Smid... could have hit Havlat 10x harder and Havlat did tip it in.
Was even less of a fan of the missed over the glass that was 2 feet in front of the ref and the offside on Bouma's stretch pass which I watched 5 times over and still don't see the lifted leg until the puck is on his stick!

Smid is not the issue here. It's the completely casual approach to the game being taken by every player out there except for Colborne.

Have to admit that was a very Oileresque period. General feeling that the players would rather be somewhere else.
