Another nice win for the Predators and another big game from Marian Hossa. He has been asked about a lot, but the case to trade him gets harder and harder. In 8 games as a Predator he has a gawdy 18 points to lead the team. Ryder sits second in scoring with 19 points in 12 games.
Today it was a hat trick from Hossa as we beat the Ducks 4-2.

Big win for the Sharks, only allowed 22 shots against while peppering the Oilers with 39.
Hopefully we can build on this win moving forward.

Jackets get a big win vs one of the top teams in Philly. Another close game with the Jackets coming out on top in a shootout with Patrick Elias being the hero. Close games seem to be the norm this year with every game today ending within 1-2 goals.
Our big scorers have been quiet this year and even though we are winning games, the big guns will need to get it going eventually.

Blackhawks stop the bleeding after dropping two straight games with a win over the Wild. Luongo has a good game and Boyle continues his strong play.

St. Louis wins game 1 of a back-to-back with the Avalanche, and their second game of a 3 games in 3 nights stretch.
Play the Avs again tomorrow. Reimer likely starts again

Pretty easy to be the best team in Philly when you are the only team in Philly.

Kings with their 6th in a row!
ROR leads the way with another 3 point night and his 5th 3 star nomination in 5 games. Cam ward took the night off, but Khabibulin kept the team in it stopping 36 of 40 shots.

Glad to hear Hossa is working out for you! As I mentioned in our negotiations I was quite fond of him and he always seemed to perform. Just had to round out my team a bit as I was in a serious deficiency of wingers. RFAs ended costing more than I had thought.

Although, I will admit (grudging as a Flames fan irl) that Hemsky is performing above contract and probably is my best forward so far.

First line is a freakin mess though. :/

Sean Couturier scores two including the OT winner to lead the Hurricanes past the Islanders 3-2. Couturier has been taking a beating this year and its good to see him come up as the hero and lead the 'Canes tonight
 3 Stars
 1 - Sean Couturier (CAR)
 2 - Semyon Varlamov (CAR)
 3 - John Tavares (CAR)

Sabres come from behind for a win over the Jets, Green finally starting to get going with 2 more points and Derek Dorsett finally chips in his first of the season as Emerson Etem is lost to a minor injury
