Icon23 Hurricanes Sign Manny Malhotra
Carolina signed Malholtra to a 1 year 2 way deal

"RALEIGH, NC – Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has agreed to terms with center Manny Malhotra (mal-HOH-truh) on a one-year, two-way contract. The deal will pay Malhotra $600,000 at the NHL level, or $125,000 at the American Hockey League (AHL) level, with a guarantee of $250,000."

Good for him working back from that eye injury and I think he could be a very effective 13th forward for a contending team (not Carolina) that has faceoff issues

Ok, now I can finally like the guy! I couldn't because he played for the nucks but it's ok to like him again! He's a stand up guy, hope him the best!

The correct pronouciation would be Maal-hoth-ra.
